I come to this place all the time. Unfortunately, it looks like this will be the last time I go. I ordered their new drink: birthday cake, which looked delicious. However, once I started drinking it, it was truly one of the worst things I've ever had. It tasted like a watered-down Frappuccino with stale sprinkles. I asked if I could switch it out for something else, because I actually couldn't drink it. They said that they don't do refunds. So I said, I don't want a refund. I just want to switch it out with something of equal or lesser value because this drink was actually so bad. They insisted that they could remake the same drink but could not switch it out with something else. That makes absolutely no sense to me. Why would you make the same exact drink that I am returning? It's going to be made of the same ingredients and taste the exact same. It's unfortunate that this happened because I did really like this store before. You would think that since their prices are so high, they would be more accommodating. I ended up just...
Read moreGood quality, nice staff. The shopping center worries me as it looks like a lot of other shopping centers that are dying.... The developers should be building 6 story high apartments in the rear parking area to build the critical mass needed to keep these retailers strong. Those retailers have a lot of blood sweat and tears on their investments and I'd like to see them succeed. I'd like this place to be modeled after mochi fresh, The menu is a bit all over the place, they need to have the ability to select how sweet you want your drinks, and the interior needs to be repainted with dark walls because it's so bright and warehousy inside... I'd also move all of the tea production to the front... Every shot of tea should be made in an espresso maker so that you can have different blends of teas and all of the tapioca used in the drinks should be made fresh daily and customers should be seeing the process so that the customer could be help sold for more...
Read moreI was expecting a lot of good things from Urban Boba Tea House, but when I got my Icy Slush Lychee Boba, I noticed that the ice started to clump up and made it real annoying to drink. I mean the tapioca balls didn't freeze like some other places and the slush part of the drink tasted pretty good, but at the same time, I don't know whether they let my drink sit for like 5 min or I just got unlucky. The slush clumping up really got to me for some reason lol. I hope that the next time I visit, I will have a better experience than this one.
EDIT - So the boba was supposed to be like that haha, my fault... Everyone here is very friendly :) they gave great service and the boba here is great. Would definitely recomend this place to any of my...
