Read moreSauce used to be a good place to eat. Although they are slightly overpriced for what you get, the pizza is usually pretty good. My attitude has changed today because of management. My wife, daughter, and I stopped in for a bite of lunch. The place was packed. Great! I like to see local restaurants succeeding. We ordered two pasta dishes and one pizza. We grabbed a table and sat to wait for our food. The two pasta dishes came out and I mentioned to my family to go ahead and eat as I was sure the pizza would be right out. I'm so glad I had them eat, my pizza arrived THIRTY MINUTES LATER. I'm not even exaggerating. Granted, I understand they were busy, but I had to ask about it and I was told that my pizza was torn in the oven and they had to remake it, and it would be another THREE minutes. No, try 10. By now, they had already cleared the table of the other now empty dishes. Although two of us had the day off, my daughter had to get back to work. I had to take the uneaten pizza to go. The best part was they said sorry as they dropped the pizza off on the table. I was obviously Hangry, but come on, man... The manager should have come out and asked how to fix things. First off, start by NOT delivering half the food to the table. The moment the pizza had a problem, they should have come out and told me and asked if they should wait for the other food to be brought out. Management has no clue and I feel for the young girls working there because they have to be the front line. Surprisingly, the table next to us had the same issue. The man asked where the rest of their food was ... the pizzas. The waitress said some other excuse as to the delay. Bad management has now lost the establishment of a...

I went in with one mission: to try their cookies. But before I could get to that, I figured I'd grab a small margherita pizza to go. And man, was I blown away. The crust was perfect – crispy on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside. And the toppings? Don't even get me started. The marinara was tangy, the mozzarella was creamy, and the basil just tied it all together in this flavor explosion.
But let's talk about the real star of the show – the cookies. Oh my goodness, these cookies are something else. I mean, I took one bite of the chocolate chip cookie and I was hooked. It was like biting into a piece of heaven. The outside was all crispy and golden, but then you bite into it and it's like this gooey, melty chocolate paradise. I swear, I've never tasted anything like it in my life.
And you know what else? It's not just the food that's amazing at Sauce Pizza. The people there are awesome too. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was part of the family. They were so friendly and welcoming, and you could tell that they really cared about making sure you had a great experience.
So yeah, if you're ever in the mood for some seriously good pizza and the best darn cookies you've ever tasted, do yourself a favor and check out Sauce Pizza. You won't regret...
