This Best Buy off Happy Valley in Norterra, N PHX 85085, is not deserving of any stars but in order to leave a review you have to mark a star. I have seen many people leave this store upset and frustrated- I guess it was just a matter of time before it happened to me. The whole staff including the assistant manager, feeds off of eachothers' rudeness and unprofessionalism towards the customers. I went in about 7pm on 9/8 and the assistant manager allowed his staff to bully us and act as if they didn't need our business. He condoned the customer service boy (by maturity not age) and the Geek Squad staff there were 3 ( a boy & a girl and another boy named Casey - again by maturity not age) to argue, yell, make condescending comments, laugh behind the counter because we were upset and they thought it was funny, & allowed them to "fuel the fire" with there cocky, self righteous demeanor, body & tone language, facial expressions & attitude. They all had no consideration that they had inconvenienced us and had no remorse that their service was way below BASIC expectations. [My initial visit was to exchange the computer, that I purchased online, for the same product- the customer service staff hastily checked it & said its fine, told me some "B.S" about the way I plugged it in was the reason it gave problems at home & kept saying the computer is fine, then I had to go back again because it wasn't fine, they argued, gave excuses and pushback to every comment & suggestion made- end the end we were the one who were inconvenienced & put-out. I could go on about my horrible experience but bottom line the store is very poorly ran. My recommendation to all is to avoid the store all together and take your business elsewhere; Amazon & Walmart have lower prices or even if to another Best Buy. And to HURBERT JOLY and his REGIONAL MANAGERS: this Best Buy needs to get rid off all the bad apples and "punk kids" (I call them that because of their attitude and drive to fuel a fire vs. trying to resolve issues), especially those who I encountered the night of 9/8/17, maybe then stock won't drop 10-11% and people will spend more on technology in their homes, like you want.
But this was my bad experience when I purchased a computer from Best Buy at home. So, you all have been advised avoid Best Buy especially at Norterra in N. Phoenix AZ 85085 and Best Buy's online shopping. Shop elsewhere with better customer service and better technology support, you won't find it at Best Buy in Norterra, N PHX 85085 *please excuse any misspelled...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have spent THOUSANDS here over the 15 years Iāve lived in the area. Thousands just last year, alone, for that matter. I come in (and unfortunately Iām on an urgent call) to return an open box item that didnāt work for me either and this overzealous & rude āgeekā at counter , clearly with no people skills, squawks at me that I was at the geek counter (after I already deduced that and began to walk away!) , not the returns line!. Honestly- I donāt start issues, this was on him, but I wonāt tolerate any disrespect and I will escalate, which I apologize for but this was bad. I wonāt tolerate rude customer service and this kid was over the top and wouldnāt concede he was initially very rude, let alone how he continued to increase shout levels. So, Naturally, he says heās not gona have me served at āhisā store (one of those guys) he RUNS and tattle.. lol.. and thereās no chance of an objective jury for me on this one, so now even the store manager or owner, without hearing the customers/ my side, just dismissed me & swept me out the door. Even further belittling me just because I was there for a return. Had I been buying a 90ā I GUARANTEE that I wouldāve been treated 100% differently. On a funny note; It was just like what you see unhinged people really lose their minds over on camera .. but I bit my lip and left as I was in a huge hurry. Other than that, The service before this visit was already always super thin and 50/50 on terms of being helpful as it is., so I generously give two stars because I typically always find what I want , the place is always stocked well, I usually have a fine experience- but this one was simply unbelievable, but I never hold a grudge after I speak my piece. Now, This geek squad kid is flexing the only powers he has in life and far too hard, naturally, and needs to be checked . Regardless, to the store: āIām sorry i accidentally set my product on your geek squad counter instead of returnsā . Not sorry I reacted to being belittled about it, as I was already departing toward the correct...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was quick and painless to pick up my two pre-ordered copyies of Super Mario 3D All-Stars at the customer service/gift pick-up counter. They directed me from the front door, and there was no line by the time I got there at 11:00am (they opened one hour prior at 10:00, probably COVID hours- 10am-6pm). They were the ONLY store I could find in a 200 mile radius that even had pre-order copies of Super Mario 3D All-Stars as a week ago. I would've been so bummed to miss out as I grew up with Mario 64 as a child and then Super Mario Sunshine. It definitely brings back nostalgia. Plus I've never played through Galaxy before. Despite the complaining from the vocal minority, the game's upgraded HD textures look nice, and I'm glad to have these three gems again on a modern console. Best Buy made it way easier for me to acquire these games through legitimate means versus scalpers thank god. Not even Target, Walmart, or Amazon could do that (at least in my area in US) a week prior to the September 18th release day. Thanks Best Buy, another pleasant sales experience through you. Oh, and i know this seems like a conveniently glowing review lmao, i was just thrilled Best Buy had enough stock after virtually everywhere else was sold out- and I found out through an online article stating Best Buy was the only retailer. So they had to have exposure haha. That and the fact that I went in one hour past their open hours, but had no line at all. Really quick pick up after checking my ID. And something about not paying while picking them up (having paid earlier online) just feels good to have the copies handed to you with only a pass of your driver's license/ID. Well, I rambled enough. I'ma go play some Super Mario Galaxy for now. Girlfriend's making me wait to play Sunshine with her lol and I've never played Galaxy before. The graphics look amazing now and hold up well. And i grew up on super mario 64. Good...
