In the process of shopping around for an engagement ring I narrowed it down to this jewelry store and one other. This particular store I liked because of the customer service and diamonds seemed to be priced accordingly to the quick research I was completing while sitting in my vehicle. The owner and/or manager knew I was shopping around. I called approximately three/four times for prices on diamonds with a particular shape, color and clarity. I went to view the diamonds on two seperate occasions. The last visit I made (2nd) I wanted to view the final diamond I inquired about so I could my finalize my decision. It was said to me that this store was not in competition with other places and I needed to make a decision so that I am not wasting their time. Also stated was the store makes money all day. (words have been adjusted due to lengthy review) Caught off guard I stated what I was previously experiencing with another jewellers and apologized to the owner & employees because I honestly did not know I was wasting time nor was I trying to waste anyones time and left the store. I am not exactly sure why the experience ended this way. I am a very indecisive person but as a customer you do have a choice to shop around.
As a consumer I thought it made sense to shop around and because my lack of knowledge. Although I should have completed all my research on diamonds/different jewellers before hand I failed to do so. I wanted to be sure I was not over paying for a diamond (getting ripped off) because this was my first large purchase of this kind. In my opinion it's similar to buying a used vehicle you'd want to shop around before making a hasty decision. When you work hard for your money such as I do you care more about how/where you spend it.
Moral of the review please be Patience with people like myself because everyone is not as educated on diamonds/jewelry. Everyone does not know exactly what they are looking for when shopping. Living in a world full of greed all I wanted to do was make a wise decision and become a long term customer. Honestly I would still recommend checking them out. They have nice pieces of jewelry and...
Read moreI have been using Braidy Jewelers for over 10 years now and have never been disappointed. I have always dealt with Mike and he is always honest and has the best quality and price. I first went to them for a repair and he explained how there was no need to over repair a tennis bracelet my wife had and everything he did worked out great and was a cheaper price than his competitors. Over the years I have done other repairs and bought new items from Mike for myself and for my wife. This year we had a big anniversary and I went to Mike with a custom design my wife had always wanted. We came up with all the specifications and I told him when I needed it by. Then the pandemic hit and I was worried I may not have it in time for our anniversary. Even though Braidy Jewelers was closed during the early part of the pandemic, Mike always kept in contact with me and said he would do his best to get it finished for me. I was finally able to pick it up a week before our anniversary and it looked better than I ever expected. My wife absolutely loved it and wanted to let Mike know how beautiful it is. She is so happy with it. Mike, I wanted to thank you for everything you have done for me over the years and you have always been a standup guy. You have always gone above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Braidy Jewelers to anyone who needs a jeweler. You won't be...
Read moreThis is my second jewelry repair with Braidy Jewelers and I won't go anywhere else. Four years ago they fixed one of my diamond prongs and were very reasonable and fast. Recently I noticed a different prong had broken off, but we no longer lived near this store so I tried two other chain stores that were closer to my house. Never again. They both insisted on re-tipping all of my prongs and were going to charge me more than I originally paid for the ring. I drove back to Braidy and it was worth the drive. He said he would only need to re-tip four of my prongs and the other 8 were fine. He completed the job in two days and was extremely reasonable in his pricing. He also rhodium plated my ring for free which was unexpected and shows how he goes above and beyond and takes care of the customer. I also appreciated that he educated me about my diamond and showed me under the microscope a unique carbon fiber in it so that I would always know it was my diamond and hadn't been switched out for another one. I would highly recommend going here for any of your jewelry repair needs! They have some lovely pieces in stock and online as well, so if I end up upgrading my wedding ring this year, I would also plan to go here for...
