I’m not the type of person to leave reviews but honestly after my experience today I had to leave one. When my wife and I walked in we noticed there was an odd smell in the building and against our better judgment we still gave it a chance. I ordered a Sumo bowl, and my wife ordered a Salmon bowl with shrimp. I don’t like plain white rice so I agreed to the up charge for fried rice in place of white rice. When we received our food the presentation of the bowls looked great. However, one bite at a time it just got worse and worse. My food wasn’t hot. The fried rice didn’t have enough soy sauce in it and it tasted like plain white rice with vegetables and egg in it. There wasn’t enough Teriyaki sauce in my bowl, I had to request for more and that still wasn’t enough. On the other hand the employees were friendly but the food was honestly terrible. I spent $35.45 in total on the two bowls and I didn’t even bother finishing my bowl. This will be the first and last time I...
Read more$45 for 3 people. 2 regular teriyaki chicken, 1 regular teriyaki white chicken, 1 edename, 1 egg roll, 3 drinks. Regular size is small and $10 for just bowl; it tasted just okay. Edename was weird, covered in excess pepper and some sauce, weird as most places just sell edename with salt, $4.19 for small bowl. Egg roll was not fried but grilled (basically a wrap grilled), tasted bad (sister says so). The drinks are good but pricy ($2 small/regular, $3 for large). The food prep area appeared rusted/dirty (old pan it looks like). The servers/prep people were friendly. The place was sorta empty (only 2 other customers other than us). Not the best place to order food from, we won't be coming back. If you are looking for a teriyaki place, try Yoshi's instead (if one near you). (Yoshi's is cheaper, bigger quantity and better quality, plus they have combos for $10: regular size bowl (bigger than this place), side (sushi or egg roll or salad), drink...
Read moreI came here to try something new and found myself completely disappointed. We 1st walked in, its a little dark and dingy, no restroom and they had a big metal counter that belongs in the kitchen, in the dining area. I shouldve took that as a sign to leave. But we looked at the menu and ordered the food to go and when we got home, the noodles were dry and sticky, even after adding the sauce they provided. We live 5 minutes down the street so it's not like the food was sitting for very long. The chicken is very plain and stale. I ordered my son an egg roll and they burned it a little, seems they just threw it on the grill to warm it up. I gave it a taste before he ate it and the outside of the egg roll tasted like cardboard. I wasted my money here, but I won't be coming back. If you like tasteless chicken you've...
