I was there for 50 minutes and didnt get any food. After I ordered I waited for food, a few other people were waiting too even longer than me and absolutely no food was coming out to the dining area. So i waited and waited with everyone else. A couple other people before me slowly got their orders and left. Drive thru seemed steady but the line wasnt huge and was able to keep moving. 35 minutes later I finally ask to get my food and a refund since it didn't seem right that i should wait so long since i chose to use the dining area vs. drive thru, manager said sure. I asked if I could have my drinks while we were waiting. It sounds like either someone bumped my order so it was never made, or it went out the drive thru. Because absolutely nobody (maybe 4 other people) in the lobby was getting any food this entire time. I got the drinks and waited again. I noticed something didn't look right on the receipt and went up to the counter to let them know to hold an ingredient. She looked at me in shock and was like no I'm not making that order this isn't how it works. And I'm like ?????? She says she refunded it so I don't get anything. I ordered at 8:50pm, and now it's 9:35. I told the manager that I had said I would like the food still and a refund too and if it was going to be an issue she should have said so instead of just telling me okay. That way we could have just done a partial refund instead and I could still get some food after waiting for so long with my 8yr old son. She swears I didn't say I wanted any food and is treating me like I'm lying. But I did make it clear and even asked for the drink cups so we could have something while we're waiting for our food. Then she says that I must have not been paying attention and missed it when they called my food. I was sitting right next to the counter the whole time, praying for someone to call my name. Its bogus. Finally she offers to resubmit the order and do a partial refund, but then she tells me I'm going to be waiting for a very long time still. (The other people in the lobby have been waiting as long as me, no one has any food or drink. People are starting to warn new customers when they come in not to order). So I left, empty handed. I was very calm and polite throughout this entire time and im certainly not the kind of person who expects free stuff when i go places, but this was getting to that point like i definitely should have gotten something for my time. Even an apology would have been nice instead of blaming me. My card was originally charged at 8:50 and by 9:43 my and my child are walking out with still nothing. I was nice and told the manager to have a nice night after hearing i would still need to wait a long time to get my order, and as I'm leaving she tells the people in the back that I wanted my food still after getting the refund and they start laughing at me and saying 'that's not how it works'. Which was incredibly rude and has 0 empathy for that they lost my order and I waited there for almost an hour. I'm not of the mind set that the customer is always right and should get everything they want, but seriously??? I wasted 50 minutes there trying to get a small order of food. Sorry it's a long story, I'm just in awe of the experience...
Read moreUpdate: since I had no way of letting the manager or corporate know who was working at the time, I drove over and documented by taking pictures. I was met with the same appalling behavior from the 3 employees. Finally. they decided to get the manager who spoke with me through the door. she was very apologetic and was able to treat me with respect. Had any of the workers handled the situation in such a professional manner, this review would be vastly different. The manager at the time, Melissa, was very professional and handled the situation well. she took my information and said she would notify the GM about the situation. Melissa did a very good job and had all of the employees had the professionalism and poise she did, it would have made a huge difference.
Don't order through the app!!!! this location needs some major revamping done on their staffing.... whoever was working on 11/22/2022 at 8:30pm needs to be FIRED. ALL OF THEM! They slammed the door in my husband's face when he was trying to explain he had used the app to order and pay for the order so that he didn't have to wait in the long drive through line. instead of helping him, they were rude and then proceeded to go behind the counter, point and laugh. This is NOT how you should treat ANYONE. If you cannot fulfill a service... don't offer it. I hope corporate sees this. Read moreI will never come to this Taco Bell again with the service I received through the Drive thru!!! On January 6, 2025 I went through the drive thru at 419 W. Bell Rd in Phoenix AZ to place an order for breakfast. When the female employee took my order she spoke so fast I couldn't understand what she said. I asked her to repeat what she said and she spoke quickly again. I did understand part of what she said this time and told her my order. She said something very quickly again which I could not udnerstand so I asked her if she could slow down. She screamed at me over the speaker. I pulled up to the window, she slammed open the window and shouted out the total. Then she slammed the window shut. When my order was ready she slammed open the window again, threw my order at me and slammed the window closed again. Not only was her demeanor rude and unjustified, the service was also bad. She never asked if I wanted salsa and did not include napkins. I don't know this person's name but in my opinion she should be fired.
