Apparently if you place an order through uber eats, arrive 10 minutes AFTER that order was said to be done, and then an additional 50 minutes inside the establishment, that warrants for their cashier person to worsen the situation by reacting to your right of being REASONABLY upset. Piss poor customer service. About 40 minutes into waiting inside the establishment, approx 60 minutes after the order was initially placed, I asked for a refund at that point (after watching COUNTLESS people come in and wait for their food, and leave with their food). When I first got there, the black girl at the counter said it wasn’t ready yet (-arrived 10 minutes after it was said to have been done)gave her my name and all). 15 minutes later, I went and asked about how much longer considering I placed the order on line to avoid waiting in the first place). She said that she didn’t know what happened because somehow my ticket didn’t get printed… she then try to apologize and deflect any responsibility by saying she had just got there and didn’t know what was going on with the person before her. Keep in mind, this is the SAME girl I told my name to 15 minutes prior who didn’t realize by then that my ticket was not printed. Fast forward, 40 minutes into being there. I then request a refund. She stands at the register for an addition 4-5 minutes trying to figure out how to cancel/refund my uber eats. I then ask her, with a hint of hostility, if she could ask someone for help rather rather than just standing there looking stupid. (45 mins into the wait). She makes comments, gets hostile, goes to prepare other people order and says “I’ll show you stupid”. Admittedly, I also wasn’t the nicest but given the situation, her response was unnecessary in all forms. She continued to fuel the situation as if I was in the wrong for being upset as I’m sure any normal customer would have been. I felt bad because the Spanish cook who was attempting to help near the end of my wait ended up crying because of the high tense situation by which she had no idea that her black coworker was fueling and instigating. I asked for them just to give me the food about 10 minutes before I actually got the food. The black girl purposely held off on giving me the food leading to me to have an outburst that the Spanish cook could not understand. The cashier understood everything and decided to worsen the situation. Clearly, she did not care for the job. In the end, I ended up taking the food because they couldn’t figure out the refund stuff after about 10 minutes. Then the black girl, who I’m sure did this on purpose, bagged up my order -4 Burria tacos and rice- without birria sauce or...
Read moreI placed an order online for the Mesa location, but once the order went through I noticed it ordered at the North Phoenix location. I’m still confused how that even happened because I swear I only clicked on the Mesa location?? Anyways, once I realized, I immediately called them and explained what had happened. Mind you, this was all within 2 minutes of the order being submitted so there’s no way they had even made the food yet. I asked if there was any way I could either cancel or possibly switch the order to the Mesa location. Normally I would’ve just gone to pick up the order, but the N PHX location is over an hour away from where I live and just wasn’t possible. The person I talked to told me that they couldn’t cancel the order because their manager wasn’t there and they didn’t know how? They then told me I could cancel it online, which I had already tried and could not. When I told them I was trying and there was nowhere I could see to cancel it online, they just hung up on me? I’m honestly so disappointed that they would not help me or offer any solution whether that be a refund or some type of credit or anything. I totally understand if the food had already been made but again, I called IMMEDIATELY before they even had a chance to make it. I also told them that I wouldn’t be able to pick it up so I doubt they proceeded to make my order so it’s not even like they would be taking a loss by refunding me. It’s just the fact that they weren’t even apologetic or offered no help whatsoever was super disappointing. I have worked in food service before for a small family-owned business and when customers accidentally ordered to the wrong store, even if the food was already made, we always refunded them or offered to remake it at the other location for them because we totally understood that mistakes happen sometimes. I am now out $30 which is whatever, but I just wish the customer service hadn’t been so disappointing and they would’ve tried to offer some sort of...
Read moreEmpty taco spot for a reason. The young woman taking orders was more concerned with her phone. She could not speak clearly, I had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times because she spoke so quickly in such a low tone of voice. It was my first time in so I checked the menu beforehand and knew what I wanted. The chicken in the tacos was so dry it turned clear. I opened one of the street tacos and everything was dry, including the onion and cilantro it was topped with. The birria was equally dry and tasteless. The chicken quesadilla was dry and tasteless. The bean and cheese burrito tasted like the beans had been made a week earlier. Dry, extremely salty dark beans. If you eat here and you do not get sick you are lucky. All of the 5 star ratings that have been given, the people that wrote them have either never had good food, were given incentives to promote this place or both. Spent $40 just to throw away most of the food and get sick. I will never come back here. The health department should come into this place and shut them down. Edit: Clearly from other reviews you keep asking people to reach out so it can be made right. There is no way to make this right. Fire the people that work for you, hire people that have quality standards. I would love my money back but the location has closed and I really never want to go back. This is some of the worst food I have ever had, worst customer service and quality standards. Edit #2: Clearly the owners have asked people close to them to leave positive reviews. There's no way this horrid place has had multiple 5 star reviews in the last week. That, or again, people are being given incentives or enjoy eating old, left out, dry, tasteless, bacteria infested filth. Phoenix has such terrible quality standards. If this business wants to make up for anything it should shut down. The owners only care...
