SO FULL SOUL FOOD — Restaurant in Phoenix

Found this gem by pure luck. Knowing authentic soul food from living in the south, I knew this place was legit when the smell of fried chick, bbq ribs hits you in the face down the road. I followed my nose to this place and order “Aunties Fried Chicken with cabbage as a side.” The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried with the right amount of crunch, juiciness, and flavor. I been wanting to try this place for awhile but I'm disappointed. I ordered ribs greens and beans. $18 to go. When I got home I was so dissatisfied. One tiny scoop of everything, literally 3 bites of the sides and 2 little ribs. The food was not what I expected. I love supporting small businesses but this was a disappointment. Side note there was two young kids working there at the time of my visit. Proud of them for having a job but you have to hold it down and keep a good name for this business....

There Food was so delicious, the best fish I have had here in Arizona, I moved from Michigan where they have great soul food and it is hard to find here in Arizona and the sides which were the cabbage and Mac and cheese was very good, the cabbage was seasoned very well and the fish was so tasty and not soggy or too crispy, it was perfect!
