This afternoon I went through through the drive through at this location. I was pleased with Tristan in the drive thru and his friendly smile. However, upon receiving my drinks I noticed that two of my drinks which were supposed to be made skinny were not marked as such. I went inside to ask for them to be remade. After being acknowledged and asked to wait one of the front barista’s asked me how he could help. Upon explaining the situation he told me he would remake them. However before he could turn around another barista barged into the conversation and asked me how I knew they weren’t made correctly, rather rudely. I explained that they were not marked made with skim milk or light mocha sauce. The barista who helped me agreed with me. Quinn (the barista who asked me how I knew) proceeded to suggest in a rude fashion why I didn’t just ask the barista who originally made them. I said I was fine with that and we found that she had made them skinny despite them being unmarked. However, I feel that my interaction with Quinn makes me hesitant to continue using this location. Read moreThe baristas are extremely nice but each and every time I order an iced caramel macchiato from here, it tastes so disgusting. The shots taste expired and it ruins the whole drink for me. I recently tried to see if this is only on the caramel macchiato. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte and it was so bad. The shots of espresso were expired. It was so overpowering i could not taste the pumpkin spice at all. I had to go to a target in Avondale and ask for 2 more pumps of pumpkin spice. This had saved the drink and made it taste the way it should.
When i used to work at starbucks we had to make sure the espresso machine was filled to the top with espresso beans and not continuously being half empty. I was told by my former manager that this helps keep the desired taste in the espresso shots so they don't come out tasting expired or bitter.

Read moreI absolutely love this location. I am a very picky Starbucks drinker and throughout the last year, this store has only disappointed a handful of times. Nothing and nobody is perfect so believe me when I say this is an excellent location. There are two partners who stick out more than others; Ariana and Alyssa. This entire location has proven themselves to be fast with respect to quality and customer service. Even on days when I am less than energetic and friendly, they come through with a willingness to go above and beyond regardless of my response. I’m grateful that they are all who they are. In or out of Starbucks, this group of people are going to continue to add beautifully to the rest of the world. Thanks guys, keep it up!
