Went in and ordered two footlongs. One was new on the menu, but definitely NOT a "special". When I tried to pay for the sandwiches using a current coupon, the worker told me that it wouldn't work on "specials". He'd had a lot of difficulty logging into the computer, so I don't think he really understood things. The coupon's microscopic print only says (I still have it) that it "Excludes Footlong Sidekicks, The MonsterTM, The MexiCali Turkey Cali ClubTM, The Beast & The Garlic Roast Beef." It doesn't say anything about not being good for "specials", and besides I ordered two Footlongs: a #2 Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken and: a #15 Titan Turkey
I pointed out to the worker that both were listed on the menu as regular items (the Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken is a NEW item, NOT a "special") but he wouldn't budge. He did not get a tip.
If I go to this Subway again, I'll be sure to have the worker verify that I can use a coupon before I order. And yes, I know it says to do this on the coupon in the microscopic print.
(Previous) This was the second time I was unable to redeem a Subway coupon with this place. The other time was with a previous owner, who made things right. The workers were very nice about this, but their hands were tied. In my opinion, this is false advertising and I will not go back to this shop unless this situation is corrected and I am apologized to for having to waste my time. Please notice that, as far as I can tell, the response below this review is from the previous owner a year ago. If it's from the new owner, then maybe they can put the date (with year) in their reply.
(Later) I've since returned to the place and tried again to redeem a Subway coupon. This time, it worked. Looks like the new owners have corrected the problem. And I'd like to add that this particular Subway is very clean and well run. My wife and I will resume...

This girl Shannon with purple hair was making this girl, I believe her name was Anaid, make all the sandwiches while Shannon was talking with customers for a long time. Shannon was making the sandwich of the customer behind us first instead of making ours when we were there first. I believe the other girl had to go to the restroom yet Shannon kept conversing with the customer behind us and wouldn’t make our sandwiches and our sandwiches were left cold with a fly landing on top of them. Then Shannon had the audacity to be angry at the other worker for trying to make 3 sandwiches alone, asking her if she made another sandwich from a customer in the drive through. The other worker Anadi (Dont know what her name was, i believe close to that) was working fine and was under stress due to Shannon not helping her and having a conversation outside of work with the customer she knew. It was perfectly fine to go to the restroom, that wasn’t the problem, but Shannon should have taken over and finished our sandwiches instead of making the sandwich of the customer she knew and favoring them. Very angry at what happened I just left and reassured the other girl it wasn’t her fault. Won’t be coming back to Phoenix subway again if this is the kind of people...
Read moreThis was by far the worst experience I've had at any Subway establishment. We placed an order online for two sandwiches. Neither of them came back to us the way they were ordered, different bread, different veggies and/or added veges not ordered, etc. The person who ordered the Tuna (this is her normal order) said she couldn't eat it as it tasted like old cardboard. Neither of us ended up eating our lunch. I called the restaurant back and asked them to please refund my card because of these and a few more issues. I was told they wouldn't do that. They would remake the sandwiches. I explained that we work 10 miles away and can't just come back down and pick up more food. They gave me an email address to contact. I will say I did get an immediate response but it was in the generic "sorry, we've contacted the store, thanks for your input". I have emailed back twice asking for my money that was literally tossed in the trash in the form of the sandwiches and still haven't so much as had an email back or a phone call to discuss the issues.
