I love Sauce and mostly order from the north PHX location. I always order the veggie rosted salad (vegan/gf). I took the kids and thier friend here before a show and it was really disappointing. I theyll ever want to return to any location and I'm pretty turned off as well. When I ordered, I explained to the server taking our order all our orders will be GF, except for our first order (i wanted to make sure our guests order was put in first). They ordered the grill cheese. Food did not arrive together, my salad came out first, then the GF pasta, but the sandwich never came out. I waited in line again to talk to the server and I asked about the sandwich and they said it was my fault I didn't order the sandwich. That's a huge turn off, to tell me I'm the one making a mistake on my order. I reordered and paid for the sandwich (because I didn't ask for a receipt the first time) and waited while everyone was done eating for our guests sandwich. We were on a time crunch at this point because we came 2hrs before the show and waited 90min for a grilled cheese. I kept looking at where the food was being served and finally a server came over and asked if I needed anything and I explained I'm waiting on a grilled cheese and have been for a long time. The sandwich came out immediately. My guest took two bites out of the sandwich and said, it wasn't worth the wait and we left. Sauce has left a very poor taste...
Read moreTerrible customer service and management. Had a very large takeout order for a party and they missed some of the items on the order. I called to see if I could get a refund on the missing food and the lady said I should see it in a few days. A few days go by and nothing so I call again and ask to speak to a manager and am told they aren’t available and to call back tomorrow when not busy. Okay so I call back the next day at a non busy hour and again ask to speak to a manager but instead talk to another employee who takes my info down and am told they will inform the manager when they come in. A few days go by and nothing, so now after about almost 2 weeks I call again and finally talk to a manager about the issue but am told he cannot reverse transactions and another store manager would need to do this. So I give all my contact info again and am told I’ll hear back soon and it’s now been a week after that. In total almost a month has gone by and I’ve called over 4 times to no resolution. All in all it’s not more than $15 of missing food which isn’t the end of the world but the fact I needed to go through all this still to no avail is ridiculous and unprofessional as a business. Also for anyone wondering why don’t I go in person - I was only there for a short period of time for an event and live on the other side of...
Read moreOrdered take out. Trusted that I didn't have to look in the bag to check my order. By the time I got to my friends in Glendale. Discovered I was given someone else's order. Called was told I'd be refunded. That was 2/7/25 still no refund. Definitely not the best first impression.
I'm now adding to my review. I still have not received a refund. And it's now February 24th. So it looks like I'm going to have to waist 40 min driving there . Reflecting some negativity about the whole situation.i was really not wanting it to come down to this. But I'm not gonna loose 66$ when I got someone else's order and didn't even like it. If the food I accidently got was good I wouldn't have cared. But it wasn't and it was not equal to what I spent.
Newest update. Iv emailed this place about my refund and still being ignored. Guess it's coming down to driving there and being labeled the a hole for doing what's right. Oh and let's not forget the employee cooking food blowing snot rockets into the trash can while I was waiting. Very professional.
Months later still never resolved. Not only have I been out $66.36 . But now because I did the purchase through Uber and disputed the charge through my bank. Now I'm getting harassed by Uber and my account locked up over this b.s. this company has caused me a nightmare I hope you...
