Wendy's — Restaurant in Phoenix

If I could leave a 0 star I would, but I had to give 1 for this comment to be seen. In going thru the drive thru of this Wendy’s, I was subjected to a literal audience at the second window after trying to pay with a 50. The, what I assumed to be the manager, came to the window after I handed a cashier the bill and asked me if I had a smaller bill. I said I didn’t. As I go on to speak with him another employee yells that the manager is trying to tell me that the bill is fake. To my understanding franchises have counterfeit bill checking machines and that especially fast food employees would know how to use them. So at this point I’m going back and forth with the employee yelling in the back that the manager is trying to tell me that my chase bank given bills are counterfeit. So I reply that I guess chase bank gives out fake money and she says no just your money is fake. So I give them my card already high upset just because of the disrespect thru the whole transaction. The manager tried to even keep my drink. The next day I go to a chase ATM and deposit my cash without an issue. Now I don’t know whether it has something to do with the color of my skin but I am a black woman who lives in the community and very much proud to be. I will never buy from this Wendy’s again and sadly to say all the ones in this neighborhood has really bad customer service and opening hours that they aren’t even...

This one location has dropped Down in quality Over the last year. Every single time I order either DoorDash or in the drive thru, there's something wrong. One time I had for lunch at work and my fries were burnt and nuggets stale. The next time I ordered from DoorDash to have for lunch it was a black plastic piece in my grilled chicken wrap and the chicken tasted like it was dry and placed on the grill again with hard edges. But today was just it, the final straw. I ordered a Double Big Bacon Classic extra cheese and get all the way home and not one piece of cheese. Besides waiting for 4 minutes at the window for it. I get that it's 108 outside and you didn't want to walk outside to bring it to me but I would have been fine with my sandwich made as I requested. With these prices I could have went to Chili's or Applebee's and had more for the price. I worked in the restaurant business for years as a manager for 20 plus years and this is just ridiculous. This location used to be one of the best and now it is the absolute worst. I will not spend my hard earned dollars for thrown together items. I don't want anything free, just would like that idea that this place needs to be ran better or...

After this location was remodeled in the last year, for about 3 months the food was amazing. You could always count on a freshly cooked meal. Now they're lazy, your burger will likely be old and tepid. The bacon they tout so much is stale and hard instead of crisp and crunchy. The food is just sitting there until some poor slob buys it.

You may get twice fried fries so hard they'll break your teeth, they literally don't care what they shove out the drive thru window. Also one thing that has never changed, watered down cokes, so watered down it's hard to tell what you're drinking.

If they ever want to learn how to draw customers they'll have to get rid of the staff, the management is awful, they just don't care about doing a good job. The service is just abysmal. I know this area well so don't expect anything better. It was bad for years before, and it's going back to the same old bad habits again.

This location is so daft, when they did the remodel they put this sign on the side of the drive thru, 100 cars must have damaged their rear view mirrors on it, yet it's still there because at Wendy's they just don't care, not...
