I want to love this place.
The owner William is there in store and very friendly. After one day, he knew my name, which was nice to experience and shows a great deal of attention to detail.
I went to this coffee shop to work two days in a row.
The Wi-Fi is excellent, restaurant and restrooms clean. Only one publicly accessible outlet for plugging in devices, near the fridge unit in the front of the store. The patio looks nice; I sat inside to use the plug. Seats are comfy, lots of places to sit.
This place gets very busy!! So be prepared to stand in line. It is worth it.
Food is good - I had the pesto quiche and the blueberry muffin and took some pastries home to share. Coffee/espresso is really good š
Note: I ordered an omelet from the menu, which said they serve a "spicy omelet" on Sundays and was told they weren't able to serve omelets. Another customer was able to order an omelet. I asked about this and was told that that customer was a regular. It was a bit perplexing as a new customer since I had planned to eat an omelet here based on the menu and skipped eating elsewhere beforehand - good to know that regulars are treated so well. Additionally, there were no coffee lids today. Could be some supply chain issue ... I was concerned about my coffee spilling. The hours listed on Google say open until 2pm yet both days they closed at 12pm - I was told this was due to "being a small business and having staffing issues". Things you oughta know before visiting.
Overall, a pleasant experience, very nice play to work or grab a bite...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWOW!! This was the best coffee Iāve ever had in my life. I just kinda wandered in after looking for a Starbucks and seeing signs for āespresso.ā They had some books for sale, tasty looking pastries, and comfortable seating. I thought Iād get a nice pastry and a latte and move along. But it was MIND BLOWING delicious. Seriously, the first bite of the almond pastry had me struggling not to cram the rest in my mouth immediately! And the latte, sooooo creamy and delicious. I got the honey one with oatmilk, and the rich coffee flavor was unlike any Iāve ever had before. Blew Starbucks right outta the water. Turns out the owner makes the pastries himself, which I was totally wowed by. Even the nicest coffee shops usually have pastries delivered by someone else, so to make the pastries in house and then also make incredible coffee??? I donāt know how heās doing it but heās just amazing. I liked it so much I got another coffee and pastry to go, and I watched the owner make it this time. He tastes as he goes along, which makes all the difference in the world. Heās obviously very dedicated to making every cup excellent and you can taste the devotion in the final product! And then I should say too, the staff were wonderful and friendly, and made sure I felt welcome. Just a great experience. The owner mentioned that being open on sundays was new and they were a bit slow, so for whoever reads this: theyāre open sundays and you should DEFINITELY go get a coffee after church, or whatever youāre doing...

I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte iced (perhaps this is where I faltered). It was rough like I imagine cigarettes to be and it was lacking the flavor that this gent desired in a fall spiced offering.
Based upon the prior reviews and the ambiance of the establishment, I knew something was amiss. Being a purveyor of coffee and a supporter of small businesses, I requested a mulligan to properly assert my understanding.
This time, I requested the same basic brew hot. It was the most well-constructed, artisanal, procured cup of joe I have ever had. The milk and coffee blended together like silk and the flavors intertwined and erupted upon my tongue. Two or more ingredients came together to combine, but they went down as one single unit. A tour de force aimed at debasing Starbucks.
I was even educated on bean extraction and selection. Essentially schooled on everything I know about coffee.
To further my discovery, unbeknownst to me, the gentleman that had so carefully and cautiously constructed my coffee was the man emblazoned on the outcropping. This man thanked me for my courage to express my dislike and vowed to clearly make a coffee that erased my ineptitude.
Who was this man? William himself.
