Man! What a freaking turn around!!! Since coming under new ownership, T.D.'s, a town staple, has blossomed into a fantastic establishment. They've always had good, but not great food. The food you get because you want something fast or you have a pizza party or something of the like. You're getting solid, reliable fare at a reasonable price. The new owner (I believe it's Gary, but don't quote me) clearly has a passion for his business. He's so amiable and easy to talk to. He has a kind word or a quick chat for everyone who walks through the door, a quality that makes him immediately endearing. He's stayed true to the ethos that forged the business and gave it its staying power, solid food at a reasonable price. The menu has expanded nicely with some fresh takes on classic dishes as well as some unique and novel ones, such as the funnel cake fries. (French fry shaped funnel cake, not funnel cake shaped French fries, which I thought. Delicious, BTW). The interior has, in many ways, remained the same. No drastic changes to the layout or anything. The changes that have been made give the place a welcoming and approachable demeanor. New floors, a few fresh coats of paint in key locations, as well as a lot of greenery. I especially like the new menu signs, which are currently below the main counter. I find it easier to read, and besides that, it just looks cool. The exterior is full of lovely plants and flowers, a welcome addition to what was once a rather mundane facade. The online ordering system has been overhauled and is easy and much more efficient. As it's often said, "it all starts from the top", and the energy, charisma, and kindness that Gary (God I hope it's gary) radiates is being reflected in all aspects of the business. The food industry can be so crushing and soul devouring. Restaurateurs and shop owners often work ridiculously long hours and stretch themselves too thin, all while operating at a loss many times. Success in the restaurant game is fickle and trying. Seeing a place being run by someone who truly cares about not only his business but the people, us a community of hungry, average, hardworking individuals, is an absolute blessing. The food is the food. If you're looking for fine Italian fare, go to Pat's down the street. You'll be overcharged by rude, unfriendly, miserable staff, but at least the food will be really good. No, come to T.D.Instead, you'll be treated like you matter, and leave with a full belly and fuller wallet and, most importantly, with a smile of satiety.
Yeah, this was long and probably sounds like I want to marry the guy, but go and see for yourself. His positivity is infectious. And that deserves...

Every year for Halloween we ordered pizza from TD. Every year I place my order online, hours in advance in an attempt to be understanding that EVERYONE is going to be ordering pizza that night.
This year was no different, placed my order online for 4 pies at 1:30 in the afternoon for delivery at 5.
5 comes and goes.
I call at 5:10 to see whats up (trying to be as polite as humanly possible understanding that its going to be busy). Was told that my order would be there shortly.
Call back at 5:45 now that I have a house full of 15 kids and adults that are hungry and chomping at the bit to go trick or treating. Once I was finally able to get through, I again attempt to be polite but firm that I ordered well in advance, and what was going on.
I was then told that my order was in line for cooking (again remember I ordered at 1:30). When I attempted to tell the person on the phone that no one was going to be home (so I could ask that the pizza be dropped off across the street), I was hung up on.
Pizza was attempted to be delivered 6:49.
After all of that TD's had the audacity to charge my card. Fast forward to today, the manager refused to come to the phone. From start to finish the experience was abysmal.
Taking my dispute to the bank, never going back there again. P'ville literally has so many other different pizza places that it is time to spend my...
