PJ's Coffee — Restaurant in Picayune

I frequented PJs about 4 times per Month (usually on weekends) for the 3 years I’ve lived in Picayune. The service had ALWAYS been Stellar until today.

I ordered the same hot coffee beverage that I’ve ordered for 3 years and the Barista delivered it Cold.

When I shared that I asked it to be hot, she stated “you said ICED …”

I explained that I’ve never ordered a cold drink from PJs and repeated my order.

She turned away to make the new drink while rolling her eyes and scowling.

When she decided to hold court on the issue with her fellow Barista and they both “Groaned”and Rolled their eyes, I decided to walk out of the establishment without the coffee although Paid for.

Score one for you Barista girl… Use the 4+ dollars I paid for the un-purchased coffee as a tip plus the 2.00 tip I left at the register “PRE-Drama”

Score Zero PJ’s Franchiser/owner/GM because it will be difficult for me to frequent your store again ESPECIALLY if Barista girl is working.

Biggest disappointment is that I LOVE your coffees and food AND there is nothing else like it in the Yune…

This is a sacrifice I’m willing to make…at least for a while.

On 2/11/23 I went and bought coffee and a muffin. I watched the girl drop my muffin in the SINK and proceed to put it in the oven, then give it to me. I told her I saw her drop it in the sink. She said "it's fine, we never use that sink anyway" like it's just a normal thing for them to drop food on unsanitary surfaces and still serve it. They didn't clean/sanitize the oven before warming other guests' food where the sink muffin was just warmed. I got a refund. I'm grossed out. PJs, please train your workers to not do gross things. Purely disgusting.

Eta: I don't need to reach out to Christian in order for the company to make it up to me. There is literally nothing on this planet that can happen to make me order from that store again, unless you hire an entire staff of servesafe certified employees. The training is subpar. Subpar employee practices come from either company mismanagement or poor training- or both. Just please make sure those employees don't serve sink food to anyone...

I started coming here PJs about a momth ago, when I was finally over how terrible the staff and service was, just over all at McDonalds is. I usually just went there for breakfast, but not anymore. Now I go to PJs and get my coffee & pastry almost every single day! This coffee shop is consistent, total opposite from McDonalds... The staff here are so nice and sweet, get your order to you ASAP!. So far I've had the Mocha Granita & Ice White Chocolate Latte. Both are so good! I haven't tried anything else yet. Pastrys, the Almond Croissant & Chocolate Croissant are delicious, I get both almost everyday! I still have yet to try the other Croissants and the Cinnamon roll are all next on my list! 😋 👍🏻 Also the atmosphere here is nice, plenty of place to sit with friend and talk or do work/ read a book! I can't think of anything negative to say about this coffee stop, maybe the 1 thing is they run out of chocolate croissants fast, but that's only because they're so...
