Metro by T-Mobile — Local services in Pico Rivera

Absolutely unethical business practices – avoid this location. I’ve had repeated negative experiences at this MetroPCS store—three separate incidents, all involving misleading information and unprofessional conduct. The most recent one was by far the worst.

They offered me a phone at a significantly reduced price, which I purchased in-store with card. When I returned to activate the phone, I was interrogated for several minutes as if I hadn’t paid for it. Why would I bring in a phone I didn’t purchase? Completely unnecessary and disrespectful.

Even more disturbing, I was then told that the owner had opened a T-Mobile account in my name without my authorization—something I was never informed of. They threatened that if I didn’t proceed with that account, I would be responsible for paying the full retail price of the phone and ongoing monthly payments. None of this was disclosed when I bought the phone.

To make things worse, I paid my phone bill in cash during the same visit, and later received a notice saying my payment was never received—despite it being on camera. And conveniently, the owner is never available, leaving me to drive to another city just to try to resolve the situation.
