Mr Pepe's — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

I don’t think I’ll be coming back as the food tasted very depressing and cooked with no effort. I got the enchilada plate and the taco dorados along with the salad they give to you on the side. The enchiladas sauce was horrible, it looks like it was dipped into sopita de fideo sauce, cheese wasn’t even melted , and the tortilla wasn’t fully cooked. For the tacos dorados, they were not crunchy and toppings looked like they were slapped on top of the taco looking like a scrambled taco mess if you ask me! The dressing that comes with the salad looks like chunky mayo instead of ranch. The food is not worth the money and not worth the horrible stomach ache I had after eating this food...

My first time here and I must admit the food was well served. I had an experience with a warm momma's house style of CALDO DE RES. Warm flour tortillas and 🍋 slices and fresh cut white onion with cilantro and some red Mex rice and yummmmy!!!!! Oh and they even made me some chiles torreados. Needs a little more sanitation and lighting but that's all. Maybe next time I go they get that fifth star I Love to give where deserved. Thanks ANTONIETTA for the invitation to MR. Pepe's. The food wasn't great, and it's a bit pricey. However,the worst part is the customer service. The lady at the front has no people skills, she got my order wrong and didn't even care enough to apologize. I had to drive back for a cold hamburger that had no mayo and no ketchup. One of the worst experiences with a restaurant. Will definitely not be back or...
