Customers beware when ordering a large order. I had ordered from them for our backyard Wedding for a late night snack (party favor for our guests). I had ordered a little over a week before our Wedding. Before placing the order, the GM Stephen said he could accommodate all our needs. Later found out after, that they did not accommodate our needs at all. They delivered 10 more pies than we ordered, didn't cut the slices the way we discussed, and charged a delivery fee when I was told it would be waived. He never told me the total cost over the phone and I didn't ask as my mind was going a mile a minute with being so close to the Wedding and I never expected to be charged almost $700 to feed $100 guests. We were married in Oct and I have been trying to fight this since Oct. Getting one response from our credit card company, a different response from the GM and on top of that, a different response from the GMs manager. I spoke with the GM 2 and a half weeks ago and he said he has no problem refunding me the money, just needs it to go through his boss. His boss told me he never told her that, but that they will not refund us because I did not bring this to their attention the day of and I signed the invoice. It was my Wedding, I had no idea at the time that it wasn't right. I didn't eat the pizza. Second, I never signed a receipt and still do not have a copy of the receipt. I asked them to tell me who signed and they can't even tell me who signed! Please beware of...
Read moreCauliflower pizza was great. Sucks because i probably won't be returning to the one on limestone road. It's pretty evident that "my kind" (black) aren't welcomed or they aren't used to seeing us there often. My first visit amd i waited at the door for 7 minutes before even being greeted to be seated, mind you there were maybe 6 patron's there. Then once seated and i place my order, my waitress stared at me for awhile and then once i received my food, she almost NEVER came back to check on me to see if i needed anything. I needed water refilling and i was looking for some garlic. She came back then just looked at me and checked on the other 2 tables around me quite a few times and STILL never asked me did I need anything. She didn't come back til i was completely finished eating. I can't believe i tipped her $5 bucks. But if i didn't it would've been a stigma that we don't tip. I hate to think that something's are related to race, but when i peep that everyone else who is not black is being served properly and i get ignored, it makes me wonder. Maybe she thought i wasn't from the area. I live right down the street in hockessin. It's a sad shame that...
Read morePlaced a take out order. Was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got to the restaurant but had to wait another 15 minutes which I did not mind. In the meantime paid for my food which was handled by a teenage boy. While waiting I was observing the cooking area where the food is prepared. The same teenage boy who handled my money went to help the cook (who was wearing gloves) and used his bare hand (mind you the same bare hands which handled my money and no telling what else) to pick up bread from a warming container, placed them in bag to complete my order. When I complained that he should not have touched the food with his bare hands they all looked at me as if I was being unreasonable. No one even apologized. A part of me wants to report them to the health department but instead I will never go there again. During these unusual times it is important to make sure the restaurants you go to take every step necessary to protect the food they serve. Obviously Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Pike Creek is not one anyone should go...
