It’s a serving counter for salads with a choice of raw fish as a minor ingredient BUT NO IT’S ABSOLUTELY NOT POKE, not even close:🫤🫤🫤🫤🫤. It is an expensive salad bar! TO BE CLEAR, AUTHENTIC HAWAIIAN POKE 1. MUST BE 80-90 % raw fish or shellfish (shrimp or crab). Here, fish is just around 4 oz. ***FISH IS THE STAR IN AUTHENTIC POKE, not vegetables or any other component*** 2. MUST BE Pacific fin fish. *** Salmon DOES NOT qualify as ingredient of poke.*** 3. Chicken or Pork are NEVER ingredients of poke. 4. Vegetables are a small component <10% in real poke. Vegetable only bowl is NOT POKE. 😡😡😡😡😡 This place is really no more than a VERY PRICEY SALAD. BAR, NOT / NEVER POKE. The raw fish (tuna and other protein) is less than 4 oz. 😡😡😡As such, the claim that this place is “Hawaiian Poke” is a blatant misinterpretation, if not a cultural slur, of an indigenous treasured food tradition of the Pacific Islands 😡😡😡 That said, they do put in Ponzu as the main sauce👍… BUT AGAIN Ponzu sauce MUST really be allowed to soak into the fish!! The serving staff are however very courteous and very amiable. 👏 The eatery is cozy and is pleasant👏. For eat in orders, it is a FAUX PAS to serve the salad in a plastic takeaway container and plastic cutlery 🫤🫤🫤🫤

My husband and I have been twice now and the customer service and bowls themselves are very consistent. Are the prices high? Yes, around $40 for 2 bowls and 2 drinks BUT their bowls are filled to the brim and very flavorful. The rice at the bottom is warmed and everything is stacked on top to build your bowl. I did opt to personalize my 2nd time going and was glad I did (there were some things I realized I didn’t like, but that’s personal preference because my husband ate what I didn’t eat and loved it). They have a ton of options, and you can create your own. They do weigh the protein that’s in your bowl, which is likely why people think they’re not getting a ton but once you start eating, it’s plenty! Everything was fresh, veggies had a crunch, and I love that they pickle some of their toppings. We also are obsessed with the Hawaiian drinks they have too - are they healthy? Absolutely not but they sure are tasty! The restaurant is very clean and really nicely decorated. I personally observed one of the employees cleaning as he worked and around the register as well. If you’re looking for a healthier option for lunch and aren’t driven away by the price of their bowls, this place is delicious and we’ll be back!

Very clean and professional establishment. Everything you would want for fast and delicious poke. Things I liked: All of their bowls can with all the fixings (most places make you pick a certain amount and charge extra after that) Their crab is REAL crab NOT imitation. Lots of options to change / alter each individual bowl. They even seasoned (optional) your protein in-front of you before they added it to your bowl. Things I didn’t like: No soy sauce? Maybe I completely missed it and I should’ve asked… I didn’t see it anywhere and they have a station with hot sauce and other add ons at the end of checkout and I didn’t see it there either. Some of my favorite mix-ins corn and mango weren’t on the menu. Prices seem higher than normal but when you look at the menu but the portion sizing is worth the price for sure! I wish I lived closer! I was in the area for a random doctor appointment and just happened to stop in for lunch.
