I had an absolute blast at this breakfast spot! Let me tell you, it's like a fancy breakfast party where you don't have to break the bank. The prices are so reasonable, it's like finding a diamond-encrusted pancake in a haystack.
The food? Oh my taste buds, they were dancing a jig of joy! Every bite was like a sweet serenade to my palate. The staff was on their game too, like breakfast ninjas ready to fulfill your every brunch desire. They were so attentive, I almost felt like I had my own personal cheerleading squad, rooting for my every bacon-filled success.
Now, let's talk about the bar. It's shaped like a cute little half moon, which is perfect for those solo breakfast adventurers. You never know when you'll strike up a conversation with a charming stranger, swapping pancake recommendations or sharing your dreams of becoming a professional breakfast taster. It's a breakfast bar, but it's also a bar for breakfast...if you catch my drift.
Regulars abound in this joint, and that's always a good sign. It's like a breakfast club where everyone knows your omelet order. The atmosphere is like stepping into a quirky breakfast wonderland. It's a refreshing change from the usual breakfast options in the area. It's so unique, you'll feel like you've stumbled into a parallel universe where eggs are the currency of choice.
Let's not forget the décor. It's like a feast for the eyes, except you don't actually eat it (trust me, I tried). The place is impeccably decorated and spotlessly clean, making it easy on the eyes and the digestive system. Plus, the portions are on point. You won't leave feeling like you need a forklift to carry you out of the restaurant.
All in all, this place is the bee's knees, the cat's pajamas, and the rooster's crow of breakfast experiences. It has officially claimed the top spot on my list of local adventures. I can't wait to go back and have another round of breakfast bliss. It's like a breakfast heaven on Earth, and I plan on making it my brunch headquarters in the near future. Trust me, this place is worth...
Read moreWhen we arrived we were friendly greated with, have a seat where ever you like. That was the last friendly smile we saw. The server did her job but just. She refilled my coffee once! I had to rip open a million sugar package because that was the only sugar they had. Then finished my breakfast with nothing to drink. My meal came all piled up on one skillet. No room to separate the food. Egg draped across the top. After uncovering the egg It looked like pizza toppings scattered, chedder cheese, potato then the egg. Just a mess @ $14. My kids were never offered a kids menu, only a drawing pad. The eggs Benedict was the worse of any of the local restaurants we frequent. The potato's were under cooked and hard. The egg was over cooked with no run on the yoke. The ice tea tasted like sweet old mop water. I tried to tell the staff about the iced tea before leaving and she just made one excuse after another. We live on sweet tea brewing our own daily. I can tell if tea was made yesterday at first sip. But all I got was excuses and then...totally ignored. She was beyond rude. The coffee(in tiny cups), tea, and soda were all $3.29 each. I won't be return when I truly enjoy The Golden Bear(daily $7.50 food specials) much, much better...or Gabby's....or Cracker Barrell....or Kristines....or Skyway Jack's. Save your time and money dont go to...

It was my first time to Benedict’s, a small chain in Pinellas County. I can see why they’ve been successful—good food and a clean restaurant—with only a couple quibbles.
As a solo diner I sat at the counter with a good view of all the action. Unfortunately, that included having to hear a lot of staff banter sprinkled with F-bombs. I really don’t need to hear that over my breakfast. I also had to request each coffee refill and the check. My server, while very pleasant, never checked back to see if all was OK.
The food was generally very good. I was happy to find some of the best grits I’ve had after eating bad grits in many breakfast diners in Pinellas County. Normally I find them runny and bland. Here they had a nice crunchy texture and some flavor. They still needed a little a little butter, salt & pepper but they were way above average. The eggs were good and the serving was large. The ham was a nice slice, properly seared. I also tried their cinnamon French toast, something I normally really like. But this one had an odd taste.
Overall, Benedicts does a good job with breakfast and I...
