First time trying this place. Just moved in to town saw this restaurant on the way to our Airbnb. Having an entire family of vegetarians, it's often difficult to, not only find a Vegetarian restaurant, but find one to satisfy what everyone feels like eating for the evening. Well, this place met all of our needs for our varied pallates. My husband tried the Vegan wings for an appetizer. They were good, but not spicy at all. We were sure they had walked over to the KFC behind them to get actual chicken😁. Didn't care for the Vegan dipping sauce though. I had the golden rolls which were delicious, but too pricey for just 2. My husband had the Impossible Burger, which tasted just like a regular beef Burger and seemed much larger than normal. I had the Crispy Noodles which was delicious! Veggies very fresh and the sauce was so yummy! The protein tasted like sliced Mongolian beef! The noodles are fried ,as it says, so they are crunchy. So if you want soft noodles this is not for you. But so delicious, it's worth it to try it. Huge portion too. As you can see from the picture, there were plenty of leftovers. My daughter had the Spicy Noodle soup, which she enjoyed. Wasn't overly spicy. My other daughter got the Bok Choy Elevation which she said was good as well. Over all, great place! We...
Read moreWe'd seen this place listed so many times. We were hesitant mainly because of the menu and its size. But we had a craving for vegan Asian soup, so we decided to finally give it a shot. First of all, the woman who answered the phone sounded like the least enthusiastic person ever. She had the same exact tone and demeanor when I picked the food up. She had about as much personality as the soup we got, which was the wonton soup. The wonton that came with it were fried, and not in the soup like you'd expect. It was also room temperature. We also ordered the spring rolls, which were clearly pre-packaged. I knew they had been sitting a long time because when I picked it up the rice paper was stuck to the package, and the rolls would rip in half. Gross. Not everything was awful. We tried the mozzarella sticks, which were pretty good compared to other vegan ones we've tried. The beef stick appetizer was good as well, had a nice pepper flavor to them. The other item we got was the Bahn MI sandwich, which was pretty good but had big chunks of jalapeño with the seeds in it. That made it kind of hard to fully enjoy, but the non jalapeño bites were quite delicious. We will probably give this place one more shot, but we were overall very disappointed with the service and the quality...
Read moreWe had such high hopes for this place. The location was easy to find and easy to get into. The building itself looked like it needs some love but the inside seemed well cared for. Our server, Amber was great, very friendly and helpful. The Fresh Roll (sauce was a bit runny), Fried Rice and Kung Pao were all very tasty, until we found a small hair in the Kung Pao. My husband told a server and she asked if we wanted it remade. We've both worked in restaurants, we understand these things happen, and since the quality of the food seemed high we weren't super upset, and said yes to having it remade. Immediately after she walked away my husband noticed another, longer, hair on the inside of one of the small sauce cups. That changed everything. My husband brought the sauce cup up to the counter, the man who received it acted surprised but didn't say much. We asked them to not remake the Kung Pao and for our bill. The bill still had the Kung Pao! They did remove the charge when my husband pointed it out but no one said I'm sorry. We were shocked as we had been very kind and passive about the whole experience. As we left they all had their backs turned as to not have to face us again. As a person with restaurant experience I would have handled that very differently. Extremely...
