Met some new friends for lunch here. It's not immediately recognizable as a restaurant, it looks more like it's just a market, so I probably wouldn't have found it on my own.
There was an amazing little buffet of traditional foods that were very reasonably charged by weight in the back. I wasn't clear if they offered that every day or Saturdays only. I had a salted, roast pork loin and also an amazing black bean and sausage stew over rice, might have been Feijoada.
I've been straight vegan for about 2 weeks and this was completely worth cheating for. I'm sorry I didn't get pictures of the food. Did a little light shopping in the attached market. Lots of specialty products in there.
Staff were friendly and bilingual and I had a terrific time. Would definitely go again, and try to invite another newcomer. Places like this deserve...

There were things i didnt even used to like in Brazil and here i eat like there is no tomorrow. Different menu daily, and a nice little brazilian good grocery, i can never come here for one thing. The owner seems to be a great person and so the rest of their staff. If you dont fall in love with this place, your definately not Brazilian !!! Muito obrigado pela melhor comida na regiao...
