My brother purchased a laptop as a gift for me, it lasted a week. It kept updating and un-updating. I used the warranty but, they did not have any laptops so I purchased a cordless drill. I tried charging both batteries. I had to return the drill. I saw a Dewalt drill I wanted to purchase and I was told it was broke. I then went to the showcase as you walk into the store I looked at items I was told that everything in that case is broken. I then purchased a lawn mower I asked for them to start it they said they could not as they could not store it with gas. I paid $8.00 for a can of gas I went to put it in the tank and the tank was full of gas. It was hard to start rough idle. Hopefully when I use it the second time it will start. Then I bought another laptop it was doing the same thing as the first laptop. After the drill, laptop, Dewalt drill etc I asked them why are you selling all this stuff that does not work? Today I did get a refund but, out for both the warranties on the laptops. $50 for the first one and $8+ for the second one. By the way the first laptop they charged my brother almost $300 for a used laptop. Today I bought a new HP for under $200. I told them they have a good scam going. They are having people pay for warranties when they know the items have problems. My suggestions for electronics or power tools pass on it.. They charge almost what a new item would cost...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I used to come to this pawn shop every now and again over the years but I haven't been back here in quite some time, and dude this place looks so clean inside. Compared to what I see in other Value Pawns, this store is at its peak from what it used to be. Everyone there seemed hella nice, and the gentleman tending to us was super informative and helpful, and I feel like it's these little things that are underappreciated about customer service. It's literally not hard, and a lot of you guys are out there just pushing customers aside with your NPC dialogue just to get them away for the next person. Smh. It's literally not hard just to be informative and decent people rather than just retreating to basic customer service corporate behavior, responses and tones. Anyways, what I really appreciated about him was that he was able to acknowledge that there was a misunderstanding without being hostile unlike a lot of people I meet in customer service. Like people really don't know how to be decent to people anymore. Anyways long comment for a pawn shop, but honestly good people deserve credit, so yeah. Will be back,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNormally, I don't do reviews, but after my 2nd time stopping by, I noticed each time the same friendly, helpful staff, extremely knowledgeable, and willingness to help-, definitely didn't get the used car salesman vibe- like most pawn shops. The manager is awesome, too. Not to takeaway from the staff because only he's able to allow a deeper discount on items, and the more you buy, the more you save. Honestly, he has a business model others should take notes on. The longer an item sits, the more the business loses. (LOL) The faster you move products, the more you net and turnover. WAL-MART and AMAZON understand that, and so does Mike. There's a reason this shop has such high reviews. I would recommend it if your getting a loan on a pawn or buying, you won't get a better deal. Don't waste ur time or money going anywhere else. If they don't have it, they'll find it, that speaks volumes for their customer service. In all aspects, you won't be disappointed. Last thing, make sure to get the 6 months insurance too because if you change your mind 5 months later, just bring the item back and get your full amount...
