Absolutely HORRIBLE experience at Dominick’s where I overheard a manager belittling and humiliating his employee in front of everyone. He said to the employee “I don’t need your mistakes [profanity] up my business. If you do one more mistake you’re done after today. I don’t need you [profanity] up this business when I can run it by myself. Don’t forget that.” And kept repeating it in his employees face OVER AND OVER again. The employee, who very obviously had just started out in this location, was apologizing profusely and trying to be as perfect as possible. Unfortunately, he did something that ticked off his manager and the manager said “don’t come back tomorrow.” And continued to repeat it again and again while the employee was still trying to work. It was heartbreaking. I have done food service roles before and learning all the ins and outs takes time and is a learning curve. I feel for the employee in this situation and wish he knows that he provided excellent service to me. The manager however, made this such a horrid experience. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. OVER PRICED food (that is not worth the price) and hostile work environment. To the manager at this establishment, if you do not have the patience to train and have empathy for your employees then I suggest looking for experienced staff members that have worked in pizzerias before you hire them. You could’ve taken this employee to the back or had a debrief after the day was over. Not hurt and demean him as you did. I will not be coming back here and I suggest others...
Read moreI have been eating here since I was a child. I moved out of state and come here to get pizza twice a year. Being that the owner said they no longer have slices or small pies, I ordered a medium with extra cheese. Half way to the airport, i opened it and saw that extra cheese was not there. I didn't call immediately. There wasn't a reason to at the moment. I did not want a replacement. I just wanted to advise there wasn't any extra cheese. $17.00 for a medium pizza is allot. He got mad in the middle of the conversation, started yelling, told us we should have called earlier, that he remembers the order, and he hung up in our faces. My future visits back home to NJ will no longer include Dominicks Pizza. I will be advising my family of this issue. He is not a very nice person and the pizza tastes horrible with him cooking. I don't know what happened to him to be soooo mean and rude but all of that wasn't necessary. MY ENTIRE FAMILY AND THE NEIGHBORS I GREW UP WITH EAT HERE. We will not be doing so anymore. I have pictures to show how often we all.eat here. I have to figure out how to post them. I haven't been able to.post pics on reviews in a while.
My friend that came with me was from Florida and had never had real pizza. All I could do was apologize on his behalf. Guess I will stick to NICOLA'S, FERRAROS, AND STELTON PIZZA.
I am thoroughly disappointed. I...
Read moreMe and my family have ordered from them for years, and when I say years I mean way back even before they changed buildings, so why is this score so low? Because of their blatant disrespect. I was just trying to order something for delivery but the person taking the order was new and couldn't understand. I wanted a pizza and chicken parmesan that's all a simple order. But since the first person couldn't understand he told me to hold on and someone else answered the phone and he said "So you want a small cheese steak." I said "no I wanted chicken parmesan." Then he said "a cheese steak." Then I said "no I don't want a cheese steak I wanted a chicken parmesan." Then he said "so one small cheese steak." That's when I hung up, I have never had to deal with anything like this before especially from a place we've been going to for years. I wasn't being disrespectful at all but this person did that deliberately so that I would hang up. If this is how they treat old customers then how do they treat new ones. Me and my family won't be eating here anymore and in all honesty Pizza Center is much better trust me go there instead u...
