Park Avenue Deli & Caterers — Restaurant in Piscataway Township

I’ve been going to Park Ave for some years. It’s been around since I was a kid and was a place I would eat at with my father when traveling. I choose them for breakfast sandwiches before getting on the road with my family, as an attempt to introduce them to a similar tradition. Virtually every time I order our food it’s always wrong. Nothing complicated, bacon and egg sandwich with salt and peeper (egg well done) or an egg sandwich on a roll. Today has been yet another example of an easy order being wrong. I’ve had to replace another sandwich only to get home and notice another sandwich was wrong. It gets very frustrating to have to deal with that every time. I’m sad to say this but I won’t spend my money there anymore. For those that do, please please please make sure your order is right before leaving the store.

Also for anyone wondering, if the order is wrong they do correct it; but to be home or nowhere near the store, it’s frustrating that you have to go back out to have it changed or just can’t get it changed and have to spend additional...

They messed up my order twice! When I went back to get my order fixed they gave me an attitude as if I did something wrong. Never saying to me but saying to the employee giving me the refund (do not accept orders from people on the phone) I was not on the phone while ordering my food at all. I came in on my phone but put the phone in my pocket to order. Then after reordering they still messed it up saying it was my fault because i didn't tell them what i wanted in its entirety. Lies! Very disappointed in the service i received. The food here is great! Service is horrible! Management is disgraceful! They acted like i was trying to get something for free. When you make a mistake the right thing to do is acknowledge the mistake and own up to it. Then make up for it. This is a service industry. I guess they feel as if people will still order from them anyway so I don't matter. The saddest part is that as I was waiting for my food I was talking to a manager telling him how much I love their food and wished they delivered. SMH. Very...

This is at least the 4th time I've tried and yes in person. If you order an over hard egg, according to the woman today you either have to say well done AS IF THAT ISN'T WHAT OVER HARD MEANS or you have to say fried... 🤦‍♀️ Fried is indeed usually runny. I've ordered fried by accident once with an app and it was runny so don't come at me with that. When you order over hard you should not just pick up your sandwich and have it gush everywhere.
