Petrucci's Inside Scoop — Restaurant in Piscataway Township

I'll start with saying, this is probably hands down one of the best Ice Cream Shops in a 10-20 mile radius. Not even close !

Quality ingredients with an extensive menu and many options to satisfy even the most picky Ice Cream Lover 🍨

Prices are fair and the money spent is definitely worth what is given.

The biggest issue here is the parking 🅿️ and the extreme wait times during the weekend on warm days. Of course it's to be expected so you can't really fault them for being so great at what they provide. It's just the reality of their location at the moment.

In terms of the waiting it would be helpful (at least during the summer weekends) to have a dedicated person handling pickups. I'm telling you now if you are in a rush you will be waiting at least 30-90 min. Outside in summer during the weekend for your Sugary fix. Don't say I didn't warn ya ! I would definitely call ahead my order. Especially if you are ordering more than two orders. Just my humble opinion. They do an excellent job at taking orders and they are made fast !

Overall this place is highly recommended by myself and you can take that to the bank !

To avoid headaches, call ahead and take your bike to this spot if you can !

I saw another recent review that described a similar experience I had so I am sharing mine. Everytime I go the girls are extremely rude and they look miserable. They have the worst attitudes. Last time I went the blonde girl with blue eyes Was so rude to me and nasty to me when she took my order. After she took my order she called me back up 5 minutes later… I thought my ice cream was ready but no… she was like “Um i didn’t even get anything you said Can you just repeat it”and huffing and puffing at me. So what were you doing the first time I ordered. Staring at my nose hairs?? so rude like girl I’m so sorry you have to do work at your job like the rest of us do. That’s why yalls tip jar is ALWAYS empty. Also I heard they’re getting paid under the counter YIKES someone...

We always have a great experienece here ice cream is always perfect! But not today!!! Legit ordered a sundae when I open the container its legit soup???? Its 70 degrees outside theres no excuse for this sundae to have looked the way it did!!! Gave the shop a call only to be told to come back for a refund which is fine! But I legit wasted 20 minutes of my time and still not what I wanted. What a waste never coming here again.... such a shame because our family has been eating ice cream here for years. If you order to go ice cream beware you might just get SOUP instead of an actual scoop of ice cream. Check your stuff before you leave and yes we legit live 3 minutes away. The ice cream was left out instead....
