Denny's — Restaurant in Pismo Beach

Let's put it this way, after waiting for 30 minutes for someone to take my order... A waiter came up to my table and said... And I quote "I'm so sorry you are being treated this way and that you have been profiled the second you walked in here. You must understand we take a lot of loss to no fault of yours or anyone specific... Well, no, nevermind I don't know why you were treated this way I'm just so sorry. Can I take your order now!" I was in tears.... After waiting like I said 30 minutes to even be acknowledged I had to use the restroom while In there, I had 2 waitresses come in and stare at me while I was washing my hands and redoing my ponytail. " So after going back to my seat, I told the waiter I was ready, who told my waitress, who still walked past me 3 time without stopping. Finally I said "excuse me ma'am I'm ready.!" To which her response was.... (And this is while she's still walking by and she doesn't even stop)" yeah... What do you want? ". I'm telling her my order and she's nodding get head not writing anything down and STILL walking away... I was floored. So after the apology and I eat, I pay my bill and I'm doing my art project enjoying coffee. I tell the gentleman that I'm going to smoke outside. But I'm leaving my stuff here so they would know I want leaving yet. I go outside, I'm smoking, I let my dogs out of car to use the restroom, and then about 15 minutes into it... The waiter walks out and says" I'm sorry but I was told to tell you either come in and get your stuff and leave it come in and sit down for more coffee!" I couldn't believe it. I will never eat here again, I will tell a certain type of social standing not to come here but I'm not sure what that is... I'm just a common looking white girl.... So you got me. I drive there, I had money, idk. Screw...

My friend, myself, and our kids were visiting the area a week ago. My friend asked the mngr. Marcelino if kids eat free that night he stated yes they did with an adult purchase from the menu. While eating the server told us we needed to purchase another adult beverage to qualify for the 3 free kids meals, which we did. Once the check arrived that's when the mess began. We were charged for the kids 3 drinks(choco milk) my friend, a mngr at a well known restaurant in our area, asked the cashier why we were charged for drinks they stated the drinks weren't free with the kids meal(yes very odd to us) but yet they made us purchase a $2.90 drink just to received a $3 free kids meal..she asked to speak to mngr. Marcelino where he mocked the situation and refused to "comp" the drinks. My friend proceeded to ask for the GM's # which Marcelino said he did not have but his employees stated he did in fact have. She was finally able to speak to Juan(or possibly Jose) who is Marcelino's boss who was very rude to her on the phone wouldn't listen to what she had to say and ended up hanging up on her telling her he wasn't going to listen to what she had to say...VERY RUDE MANAGEMENT our server was nice until he butted into the situation and tried to shush my friend..myself, being from this area and there to show my friend around was shocked that this is how things were handled by a shotty mngmt. team...seemed that the mngr.'s we're friends outside of work and enjoyed working together to NOT satisfy their customers and leave them shocked with a bad taste in...

Decided to drive into town yesterday to go to dennys around 11amand the place was crowded. No worries though, usually Sundays are packed. I waited in line to tell the waitress how many were in my party and the person right before me had trouble using their Denny's gift card. The waitress seemed to have trouble figuring out how to use it too so i stepped in to help. All parties were happy and really no conflict was being made until another employee, named Stacy , came to "assist." Stacy seemed quite bothered and just angrilly snatched the gift card out of the cutomers hands and without saying a word to the coworker that she was tarining and went to the back. The other employee then happily helped us to the best of her ability. Then she asked her bratty co worker Stacy to help her with something and in front of me and my party she said "I'm not here to teach you how to do things here, I am only here to assist you." The most stuck up, brattiest employee I've seen in a while. I feel bad for the co worker she was "assisting." Even though the waiter took our name down for thw wait my party and I decided not to stay and go to Coco's because we felt uncomfortable due to Stacy's hostility. Coco's served...
