Pismo Coast Village Grill — Restaurant in Pismo Beach

The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. The hostess/server was kind and helpful. We’ve eaten here several times in the past and the food was great and the lines were long. They would grill on the outside fire pit and the ribs were really tasty. Unfortunately, on this visit, the food was terrible! We ordered the baby back ribs and they didn’t use the outside fire pit and the restaurant was empty. That should have been my first clue. This time the ribs appeared to have been frozen, then thawed out and heated with bbq sauce poured over them. Totally tasteless! We have eaten ribs at many rib joints and this is probably the worst. First timer. Gotta say it will be the last time. Where to even start. The food was horrible. My omelette was so dry, the grilled mushrooms were black and burnt tasting.
