Honestly very disappointed, was denied entry during my first time coming here for a celebration because my valid driver license “looked fake”. When I questioned what exactly was wrong with my NJ driver license which I know 100% was able to scan to get through I was not given an answer and ignored and then had my girlfriend and I cursed at and told to leave. I was also told that fakes should be confiscated to which I agreed for my license to be taken and the cops called just to prove my innocence. For anyone who goes through the process of being an “expert” on license validity, one should be aware that the new NJ non probationary drivers license are thinner than the previous iteration of drivers license due to updated security features to combat duplication. Overall a very stupid situation and a waste of time as my card was taken by many people to supposedly be scanned and still denied for the sake of maintaining pride bc they are “experts”. Humility was needed bc I assure you alcohol isn’t that good for me to be repeating myself more than twice to get into a place at the age of 22. I do appreciate the guy who took the time to speak with me and apologize for the misunderstanding as it took me to show my instagram account info to verify my DOB, which is crazy but after all that why would I care to enter, first...

Closing time at exactly 2 am, bought a last beer to finish off my buzz, told me I couldn't leave with it which is understandable, liability and all. So I decided to play some darts while I finished my beer so I could leave. As im playing darts, the bartender comes over and snags my beer which I placed down on the counter in order to play darts obviously. He walked over to the bar and pours the entire beer out, which I just paid for, and took barely about a sip of. I was honestly just throwing some darts to pass the time while I finished my beer so I could leave, and the bartender/bouncer figured that, since I was playing darts I chose to play darts instead of drinking the beer? Keep in mind I just paid full price for a bottled beer and he poured the entire thing out for no reason and then refused to accept the fact that I payed for the full bottle of beer that he poured out. I'm a regular at boots and have never experienced the level of incompetence that I experienced tonight. Will not be giving a dollar to their "business" again. Hope it was worth the beer that you guys completely wasted...

We've been here before and it was nice, friendly, and inexpensive. Tonight, however, July 26, it wasn't a great place to go. Bartender was rude, had floaters in my beer, and the music was so loud I couldn't hear across the small table. The waitress/server was very nice and took great care of us when we ordered the 50 cent wings, But she couldn't bring us drinks, we had to go to the bar and the rude bartender. The only napkins, for wings, were small cocktail napkins and we had to get them from the bartender. Wings and rings were very good. It was completely different than the last time.
