Didn't get to experience the hookah, but the food was quite good. I tried the chicken tikka kebab skewer (3), an Iraqi kebab, 2 spinach and feta pies, ossmalleya, and baklava. When I first entered the restaurant, I noticed that it was decorated nicely but there was no on there. I got my takeout order in a fair amount of time, though. The first item I tried was the chicken and Iraqi kebabs. The chicken was a bit overcooked and a little too charred for my taste. However, it was still flavorful and pretty tasty. The Iraqi kebab (chicken) reminded me of sausage for some reason. It had almost a processed meat texture to it, so I wasn't the biggest fan. Try the non-chicken Iraqi kebab instead. I was very pleasantly surprised by the pies. They were huge, and each single pie came cut into two smaller pies. The feta was clearly high quality and the breading was done well, too. They stuffed it full of spinach, but it wasn't overpowering the cheese. Just a hint of onion as well. The desserts were fairly good, and a great bang for your buck. I'm pretty sure both the ossmalleya and the baklava is not made in house since I saw him taking out a dessert box when preparing my order. Still, I enjoyed the baklava. Maybe just a bit more syrup but otherwise great. Ossmalleya is quite unique: nice pistachio inside, some syrup (not enough though), crispy topping, and a hint of lemon. Overall, there aren't many Iraqi places in western Pennsylvania, so this place is worth a try. The prices are very reasonable and you get a fair portion of food (huge portion for the pies).

My son and daughter took me here for Mother’s Day for my first taste of Iraqi food. It was totally delightful! Our waitress was quick to get our drink and food orders. She also checked back often during our meal to see if we had everything we needed and if everything was OK. For appetizers, we got the Hummus, Babaganush, and Sigara Borek. They were all good, and we especially loved the Sigara Borek. For entrées my son got the Kuzi (lamb shank) with rice and salad, my daughter had the Lamb Tekka with rice and salad, and I had the mixed grill with rice and salad. The Kuzi was so moist and tender and had a wonderful flavor, my daughters Lamb Tekka was delicious, and I liked all three of the meats on my mixed grill. We all agreed that our dinners were fantastic, and we had more than enough to eat, and got takeout containers for the remainder of our meals. My only negative comment would be that the place could be a little cleaner, and the restrooms could use some cleaning up also. That would not stop us from going back there again for another delicious dinner. The pictures I am including were from the menu, but we were told to scan the code because things on the menu had changed. That included the prices and the sides that came with the dishes. On the menu, it mentions that you will get fried tomatoes and onions with a lot of the meals but instead they came with a salad. All in all it was a very good experience.

Food is clearly from frozen, was gross. You have a serious mouse problem you need to properly address, pictures of mouse droppings attached. I was watching a mouse eat through your bags of chips you have on sale in the display counter in the front. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting Tables are dirty, floors are nasty You have a staff running the place that seem like a group of high schoolers This place needs to close down.

Visited today for the first time with a new friend. Had Iraqi Kaba, Aryan Tea (1st time for this too), and Coke... 1st Impression/Service: Must say really enjoyed the layed back mid sunday atmosphere, quite perfect for conversation and getting to know someone meet n greet. Service was good. She was informal with dishes and drinks. I call this "Server Sense" ... She was avail and not to pushy with the "how you doing?" Most servers over use. Was able to just talk and checked on us when drink was low and server sense dictated. Great Experience FOOD: First thing the prices in a whole are very reasonable, especially as mich as Pittsburgh goes out to eat!

Had the, Iraqi Kaba was phenomenal, a touch of spring hit me with the fresh salad on plate. Rice perfectly seasoned. Pita, normal (cant mess that up). The beef & lamb combo was perfect and accented each other as such! Even had some lamb kabab from friends plate. Was cooked to perfection. Aryan Tea, not for me. Heard of another version with sugar instead of salt. Id like that, however, do see point and need of this drink as geography and climate in middle east can be very dehydrating and salt pours out onesself. So this would be perfect to replinish. I did manage to drink half tho. (Btw was pre made bottled, not in house, laborsome i suppose) Wrap Up: VISIT THIS RESTAURANT! Its a supurb place and got my 5 stars plus a lengthy review... Hopfully you head this...
