Just opened this week on E North Avenue in the Northside, Breadbox PGH is a handcrafted sandwich and sweet treat café where everything is made fresh! They offer soups, sandwiches, and salads, all made to order, along with some grab-and-go salads and charcuterie trays. And of course, a big box full of amazing handmade sweet treats! Everything is fresh and locally sourced. I tried a sandwich from their specialty deli items menu—the Steakhouse Panini. This decadent sandwich features roast beef, provolone, balsamic onion jam, mayo, and spinach, all on garlic toast. Holy cow—tastes just like French onion soup from a high-end steakhouse! I also sampled a homemade cinnamon roll, a peanut butter cookie, and a savory spinach feta scone—all absolutely out of this world! I can't speak highly enough of this new spot. Definitely worth...

Absolutely incredible! The wedding soup was genuinely life-changing—perfectly seasoned and comforting and the dough balls were so soft. I had the Hot Italian panini and it absolutely slapped—crispy, melty, and packed with flavor. I also grabbed a fresh-baked brownie and a chocolate chip cookie to share, and both were phenomenal—rich, gooey, and clearly made in-house. First time ordering and got a hoagie, when I first walked in they were very welcoming and sweet. It’s so cute and simple. The hoagie was pretty good! It was huge I’d have to say. For reference got a 12-inch. I 1000% recommend , definitely coming back. And this time going to try some sweet treats.
