Let me start off by saying that you are in no way an authentic NY bagel. No matter how much chalk-style propaganda you sling all over the place, about all the steps and ingredients needed to claim NY-Style Authenticity. Your bagels look/taste like hard rolls baked in bulk for war prisoners. Also, if you were actually "NY Style," you wouldn't all move like your feet were magnet-stuck to the floor. I watched in horror as five staff members took six minutes to cut three "bagels."
I waited exactly 38 minutes for my breakfast sandwich. You guys were busy/slow af (see above) so I gave you the benefit of the doubt. But I kept seeing people getting their orders before me.
Finally I inquired (a second time) about the status of my order. You never put it up! I waited for 40 (38) minutes for no reason and what I received was two good eggs (at least you actually cook real eggs there,) a grey and flavorless sausage, and a hunk of barely edible dough that is an insult to my mother-land.
Also the amount you charge for a SEC is MORE than NY, as if that...
Read moreDonna A. (or it could be H.). I feel terrible as I just spoke with her. Breuggers used to make the best breakfast sandwich in the world. It was simple. It was elegant. It was tasty, but for some reason some years back they discontinued it. when I called there today to see if it was at all possible to order an egg ham and cheese sandwich, if they’d be able, and this is selfish of me, but I asked them if they could put the ingredients on that sandwich that would make it a true Denver not only did she readily agree to make this for me, but she was in such high spirits. She was so kind. She had a very warm personality. The words that keep coming to mind are ‘model employee’ so to anybody that reads this just know that you if you visit the Breuggers bagels on East Carson at 1801 you’ll be greeted with the best customer service and I’m a firm believer that food accompanied by great customer service makes the food taste even better. Thank you Donna. Because I know this breakfast will be...
Read moreI love going here but on multiple occasions I have asked for the western brisket, specifying the one without egg....and end up with egg on my sandwich. I totally understand that mistakes happen, the line is on auto-pilot making sandwich after sandwich but its happened at least 5 times now and I cant stand the sulfur smell of eggs.
Once, I told them my sandwich was made incorrectly, with egg, and the worker asked if they could just remove it. I wouldnt be bringing it to someones attention if I couldnt just take the egg off myself.
Im not trying to be a pain but I am specifically ordering an eggless sandwich for a reason. It happened again today and it was my final straw.
When this doesnt happen, Im totally satisfied with the food and service. The cold brew coffees are great and service is quick. I...
