I recently had a very disappointing experience at Dunkin' Donuts, Liberty Avenue. After placing my order, I waited for 30 minutes without any communication or updates on my food. When I politely inquired about the delay, I was told that they were preparing orders in the sequence they were received. While I understand that, 30 minutes is an unusually long wait time, especially without any explanation or apology.
What really shocked me, though, was the rude response I received when I expressed my concern. The staff member curtly told me to "go ahead and make a complaint" as if they were entirely unconcerned about my dissatisfaction. When I asked for my receipt, the girl at the counter shockingly called me "disrespectful," which was not only uncalled for but also incredibly unprofessional.
Despite my frustration, I remained calm and filed a formal complaint with customer care, expecting that my concerns would be taken seriously. However, it has now been five weeks, and I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment. This level of disregard for customer feedback is deeply troubling.
This experience has left me questioning whether Dunkin' Donuts values its customers at all. I hope this message will finally prompt some action, as I believe that no customer should be treated this way.
As a parent, I expect a certain level of service and respect, especially when dining with a young child. I hope this message will finally prompt some action, as no customer—especially one with a child—should be...
Read moreI ordered #2 clown cones for my 34yo son as a sweet past memory of all the years I would order these cones for him and his elementary school class. I work at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh and live 1 hour away. Never thinking of the logistics when ordering until I was hours from picking up the order. Greta called that morning to confirm so I had called her back on the only number I had (her cell phone) to discuss my predicament. At this time, she was not at work, off the clock, and didn't have to help me. She confirmed that by the time I get home, the cones would probably be soup! She suggested I get ice from a local businesses close to their shop on Liberty Ave. I told her I was still not too familiar with that area because I just started this new position about 1 month ago. I assured her I would use my GPS and figure it out. She called me back about 1 hour before I was to pick up my order. She went out and bought a bag of ice for me and brought it to the shop. I was floored! This is a valuable employee but even better a remarkable human being. I was brought to tears with her kindness. She went above and beyond and should be recognized. I am truly grateful and will continue to be a loyal customer. And many thanks to Jill who decorated these cones...
Read moreThis is one of the most disgusting fast food restaurants I’ve been to. Here’s a short list of things I saw: flys buzzing around inside the donut case, crumbs and other assorted food bits literally all over the counter where you place your order and pay, dried liquids spilled over almost every surface, trash overflowing from the cans inside the restaurant, more flys buzzing around the dining area, dairy products and others left sitting open out of the coolers for minutes at a time, debri strewn all over the floor like the place hasn’t been swept properly in months. While taking my order, the cashier jammed her pinky inside her ear to scratch it then walked over to the case to pick my food up without washing her hands. The woman making drinks seemed to be shedding or to have some kind of shedding pet, because her shoulders and back were covered in loose hair and what I assume was dandruff. Absolutely abysmal experience. I tossed my stuff after leaving and will be requesting a refund over the phone because I didn’t want to confront anyone there in person There’s no way I want to eat or drink anything from this location.
Tl;dr: Stay...
