I decided to write this review after several disappointing visits. I love Einstein Bros bagels. However, this location has been lacking in organization and work force for a long time. The workers I see are the same every time, as if they have to work around the clock. I can see that they are struggling to keep up with online orders that overwhelm them. One of the workers seems to have health concerns and I am worried for the pressure they are under. Everytime I have visited, I have seen that one worker has to leave the register to make coffees for online orders while the other two fulfill food orders. The coffee pitcher they use for iced coffee is heavy and difficult for the worker to handle. This slows down the process and leaves the in-person line to grow until sometimes people have to wait up to 45 minutes. I don't believe this is the worker's fault but management's. I hope the company is paying them enough and is willing to pay a new worker well so that this location can keep up with their demand. So far, it is not, and it is negatively affecting the workers and costumers. A company that does that cannot succeed in the long run. Unfortunately, both visits fell short of our expectations.
They open at 6:00 AM, but when we showed up right on time, an employee (possibly named Ryan or Bryan) greeted not with a welcome but with a shouted "F... Off" from inside, I believe his name was either Ryan or Bryan. He did open the door for us a couple of minutes later. Despite this, I left a 20% tip, hoping it might improve his mood.
Sadly, the service remained consistently unfriendly. It seems the employee might be dealing with personal issues, and while I can empathize, it did affect our experience. On our return the next day, the atmosphere hadn't improved. We asked if the music could be lowered down, but were flatly denied, even though we were the only customers at that time.
I remember a previous employee, a girl who was always friendly and respectful—her presence is greatly missed. We don’t plan to return to this location...
Read moreI would love to have eaten here but waiting for 10 minutes at the register to order so the only cashier can make mobile orders is unacceptable. There are 4 more employees taking 10-15 minutes to make one sandwich. Either this location needs employees to only make mobile orders or they will continue to lose customers as the long wait times for food is absurd. They had Mobile orders that ordered over 45 minutes ago not ready yet. The one customer I passed walking in had just gotten his 1 sandwich when I walked out. He said he had been waiting for over 20 minutes for it. That is not how a business should be managed at all. Please learn how to adjust as 3 of us walked out without ordering and a few others in the parking lot left without entering due to it taking so long. This was only one day.
