Amazing. Simply amazing. I was a fan of ginger and a fan of alcohol. But this is not a mere mix of the two. The product is unique and peerless.

This establishment could easily be mistaken for a super chic, pretentious high artisan sign of gentrification, but no. There is an old-fashioned appeal, authentic yet forward-thinking and modern. Tyler, who was tending bar, explained that they use classical techniques in their process, maintaining an authentic approach. All done in house.

The drinks are exceptional. Nothing is as crisp and refreshing as that OG JGB. The ginger flavor is strong but perfectly balanced with the mild sweetness of the beverage. The 0 proof original seems markedly sweeter than the OG JGB, offering a distinct flavor profile. The spicy 0 proof is bomb, delivering a satisfying kick. I only wish I could enjoy a hot summer day with a spicy alcoholic JGB, but it doesn’t exist… yet.

The bar itself has an inviting vibe. It’s been the greatest bar/tavern/pub I’ve patronized in recent memory. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a genuine charm that sets it apart from other places.

We brought our dogs and they were thrilled to have us; staff was praising and petting our pups. Told us to bring them back whenever. We came again and ordered drinks and then a staff member approached us and informed us they don’t allow pets. We asked if we should go and they said no but it was heavily implied? We quickly finished our drinks and left. It was confusing. Sadly we are unsure how to feel about this place, very weird and a bit inconsistent.

I am editing this review because I don't want to bring down the ratings of this place. It's very cute and they pour great drinks. Just can't bring out pets like they told us we could when we went to their opening day event.

A bit defensive of a response from the owners...just know I will keep supporting yinz I was just very confused by my different interactions...

I was really excited to try this place because of the ginger addict I am. I regularly drink ginger beer straight. I got two NA four packs for like $35 which is crazy expensive if you ask me. My original review about the actual product was positive but the more I drank them the less I enjoyed it, to the point that it took me a couple months to drink all of them. The problem for me is it's one dimensional. It literally tastes like fresh ginger in soda form. The spicy one is a bit more interesting but I still don't think I'd reach for one again. At the end of the day I find Fever Tree and Bundaberg to be more "put together" ginger beers. Now that I think about it I don't think I've had any American ginger beer as...
