Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I love Jimmy Johns! NOT THIS ONE!!!!!! We are newer to the Pittsburgh area and usually I go to the Oakland Location which has been good. I was just pregnant (and so I could not eat deli meat and was missing it). In the past month, since I had the baby, I have sent family members to this location to get sandwiches. Of the 6 or 7 times we have been we have yet to have a completely correct order. We have ordered anywhere from 2-4 sandwiches at a time. I have sent my mom with a written order that she handed to the person taking the order, my mom has checked and double checked that they heard what she ordered, my husband has ordered my sandwich (and he really knows how important my correct order is). When I order a sandwich, I want the sandwich the way I specify. In case you were wondering my correct sandwich is bread left in, cut in half, roast beef, onions, mayo, and provolone. No lettuce or tomatoes. (not hard)

The ingredients are still fresh Jimmy John's and my parents have enjoyed their sandwiches even though they got sandwiches that were not what they had ordered.

Update: GAVE AN ADDITIONAL STAR FOR PROMPT RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT. After writing this review on here I also wrote a review on Jimmy John's website. Jimmy John's headquarters called, THE NEXT DAY, and talked to me about my issue to make sure they fully understood. Then they called this location and spoke to them. The manager of this location then called me and spoke to me about my experience here and let me know that he would look into it further and in the future that I could ask for a manager to come out and make my sandwich. I was happy with the response both from this location but especially from the headquarters. Like I said I LOVE...

Consistently rude customer service. I have gone there numerous times since i work in the same building, and it is always uncomfortable at best, like they are annoyed you are there. My coworkers who go there say the same thing.

Today was the worst, and will no longer give them any more of my money. I did an order online for store pickup, mainly so i don't really have to interact with them due to past experiences. I get to the counter and get an annoyed worked, an I tell him I have an online order and give him my name. He ruffles around a bag and very annoyed goes "who" "what do you want". So i tell him my name and what i ordered. He rifles thru some other bags and quickly storms to the other end of the sandwich line. He has a bag, and from about 6 feet away (he is about 3 feet from the counter and I am at least a couple back on the other side), and he throws it to me and says "here". Of course i was not expecting it thrown and drop it. Lucky for them I was so surprised by this I just took the sandwich and left.

Never had such rude customer service ever, and i have been many places, and this location it is consistently that way. Only thing saving from a 1 star is the sandwich was...

The black girl with glasses, chubby and short, who took my order was very rude. She interacted with a horrible attitude and it carried over when she went to make my sandwiches. She made them wrong and I reminder her of how they were ordered and she got belligerent with me. We argued back and forth and I asked for her name. She refused to give me her name so I could call the manager. At this point she started slamming my sandwiches and treating them with disrespect. I told her I wanted a refund and to give me my money back because I did not deserve to be treated badly because she seemed to be having a bad day. She claim she voided the order, I will be checking bank receipts to ensure this. During this time, I noticed the other employee, with dreadlocks, on his phone and plugging in a charger with gloves on that he was preparing food with. He then started cleaning dishes, used his phone again and then proceeding to cutting the cucumber. ALL IN THE SAME GLOVES. Very unsanitary! This location has gone downhill in a major way! And I will not visit this...
