Came here on a tasting event. They put a good foot forward. Pretty strong sturdy roll. The bread was a tiny bit dry but like that's just being really critical at that point. It was good. The sauce that they included was good. A little too sweet for my liking but I could see how it would pair well with the the rolls they provided. I really liked the Pittsburgh roll that they included and I mean it was a solid pepperoni roll. I'm not going to say it was anything that blew my mind but it was a sample at the same time. Pretty solid showing. They came out pretty well on this so I'd give him a solid try another time when I'm down in the area. So good showing.

If you want some of the best breads in Pennsylvania, Mancini's is the place to go. The Jalapeño Cheese bread was so good that I broke off a piece to eat before I got home. Toasting a slice makes it even better. Guilt wouldn't allow me to hide the bread from my family, but I wanted to. BTW, these carbs are worth every bite. My only criticism is that they don't offer sourdough bread. I can't wait to taste other products. Stop by Mancini's the next time you want bread. I will.

This place is a Pittsburgh classic for a reason. Go early because they can sell out of popular items fast. I was lucky enough to grab a pesto loaf for my family for Christmas and it was amazing. I love that they also offer some frozen, take home items. They’ll slice the loaves for you if you need it! Can’t wait to come back and try more of their options.

5 star for the bread. 1 for service at this location. Seriously the people there act like it’s a privilege for customers to shop there. Went once two hours before they closed, shelves stocked with bread, 1 guy inside cleaning the glass on a display cabinet. Closed sign up, door locked. I knocked and the guy just waved me off and went back to cleaning. No reason. Today I went to get bread for a “surprise” picnic tomorrow that I didn’t know I’d be cooking for. I asked if I should take packs of buns from the shelves or should I ask them for them so they wouldn’t have to restock out front (I wanted 4 dozen). Both employees (one older man one woman) told me that I should have ordered ahead if I knew I needed so much (which I explained I did not and apologized for) and then 5 separate times between the two of them they made sure I knew that people were going to yell at them all day because they were out (meanwhile there were still 3 dozen left). I apologized once and then they kept beating it into me. Should I really apologize for buying their product?? No. Never. A customer should not ever be made to feel bad for buying stuff they need from a store that sells it. Again, great bread but I may have to stop buying their stuff so much since they seem to feel the need to treat customers...

I am amazed at the lengths Mancini in the Strip went to in order to answer my question, "Does your pesto bread contain nuts?" Erin sent me a copy of the ingredients from their vendor's product. We were both still unsure what 'natural flavors ' might contain so she contacted the vendor directly to ask. As a follow up, she then sent me, via text, a notice from the vendor verifying that there are no tree nuts or peanuts on their premises.

She could have given me an uneducated answer and sent me on my way. Instead, she researched this completely so she, too, was confident of the result.

Erin, THIS is unbelievable customer service in this age of mediocrity....
