Napoli Pizzeria — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

We called in with some issues on an order, 1 of many (many without issues), and a guy named Chris was unprofessional. That's an understatement really. I have ordered food there for over ten years. Most of the time the food is great. The pizza reminded me of home. I have had 4 issues in total and ordered there well over a hundred times... I was happy to pay for the meal and provide what I thought would be valuable feedback. Maybe it was a new cook....but it seems Chris doesn't have the fortitude or EQ to avoid speaking terribly to people when dealing with a quality issue, which happen. We mentioned that we don't even want a refund we just wanted to share feedback because we usually love the food. He got all bent out of shape, must have had a real bad day or something.

Took a look at the bad reviews, about half are about how these people treat their customers and almost all of them are from the last few years. It seems Chris has alot of bad days and sets the tone for people there to treat people poorly, setting the wrong example. Real top down issue. Wish I could leave NO stars. Came here with my Neurodivergent children. Ordered, sat down, & waited for a long time even though the place was empty. My youngest who sat & waited patiently (which is extremely hard for him) started to get loud as we waited. The pizza finally arrived & was thrown on the table on a hot pan even though I asked for it to be brought in a box. It was overly greasy & soggy in the middle. We had to get forks & knives to cut it up because it fell apart. My youngest stopped eating it because it didn’t resemble pizza. Then as we are wrapping up to leave. The older guy yells at me, from the front, about my kid being loud. Stating he couldn’t hear on the phone. We were seated near the back of the restaurant no where near him!. There were two other employees. Any of them could have walked over & talked to us nicely! There were no other customers! My oldest starts crying! This establishment clearly needs to shut down. I normally don't post reviews because it's just doing too much and I usually never have a problem with this pizza place! I will travel across town for there pizza until today! So I was in shady side today and figured I would order a pizza and hoagie from here! I called and picked the food up then I went to make a couple more stops and went home! I order a whole steak hoagie and and 10 cut pepperoni! I I said NO MAYO OR DRESSING ON MY HOAGIE! I gets home and open the hoagie up and what do I see all over it MAYO!! I called Napoli's back and they guy asked what my address is! First off you don't need my address because I picked my food up and second I live all way on the other side of town! So then he was like " what did you expect " I was still nice and I said I expected it not to be any mayo on my hoagie! He said " well you can save it and next time you come bring it in " why would I want to store old ass food that I don't want in my refrigerator! I always order from this place and planned on getting pizzas for my kids second birthday party but I will never in life give this place another...
