I would say it is a server failure and not the restaurant. Regardless, we won't be repeat customers. Food was fine. When we arrived, the waitress couldn't answer our questions about Taco Tuesday in a way that any of us could follow what she meant. The QR code for their menu would freeze on everyone's phone - Android and iPhone. And no where did it explain Taco Tuesday prices. After the third time of asking her what the prices were, we all came to the understanding: soft shell tacos were $1, hard shelled tacos were $1.50 and grilled tacos were $2. When asked to repeat the meat options, she said steak or ground beef - even though she had me times fish and chicken previously. When I asked about the chicken options, she responded, you only asked for meat, chicken isn't meat. When our bill came, after all of us having ordered the $1 soft shelled tacos, not a single taco was less $2. It was at that time she changed the prices of what each taco was and then specified that it was whether or not the meat was grilled - which means all tacos, if you got any type of meat, since they were all grilled, were $2. As we asked for clarification, she kept changing the prices which at that point, other servers chimed in telling us that the prices she gave us were wrong and gave us a totally different list of prices. She tried to get us out the door by telling us we'd get military discount only to find out we didn't qualify for the discount since the tacos were already on special - a surprise to her. Myself, and 2 friends usually go here once a month to have dinner, drinks, relax etc... from the time you order your dinner, til the time its on your table is FAST... and it still was tonight....BUT... BEWARE OF HAPPY HOUR SPECIALS!! you might get charged FULL price, as we did!! As we are about to cash out, we realized our bills are messed up...... So all 3 of us ordered our 1st round, charged Happy Hour price... fine...... 2nd Round, just 1 of my friends and myself ordered a drink.. he was charged Happy Hour price, and i was charged FULL PRICE... only myself ordered a 3rd, which i knew would be full price. Anyways, i notified my server.. he proceeded to change my friends bill...his 2nd drink from Happy Hour price, to FULL PRICE! Even though we ordered our 2nd round before Happy Hour ended, we BOTH GOT SCREWED... So then, I proceeded to speak to the Manager... he DID NOT GIVE A DAMN AT ALL... AND, he insulted me saying "you drink too much"... So, after this experience, we WILL NEVER,EVER COME HERE AGAIN.... had you corrected our bill and not insulted me, we'd be back no problem... but NOPE... hope you all stay away too!! I'm sure many other Mexican restaurants would be happy...

I love los amigos, so me and my girlfriend decided to check this one out. We went on taco Tuesday when they are a 1$, but fare warning the only ones that are a dollar are hard tacos; chicken or beef. The steak is another .50 and the soft tacos add on another .50. Now they are almost like the ones at Evies in Detroit, but if I compared Evies with any Mexican restaurant out of southwest Detroit, please beat me over the head with a tomailie. Now moving on to service, the waiter was on point I would say 80% of the time. We ordered the big guac (they make in house fresh for you, but they didn't warn us that it had jalapenos in it). Getting back to the waitress, we had to ask for our big guac, because for some reason she forgot (she was talking to some customer at the bar for 10mins), now like any other person, I like to receive my appetizer before my main course. In all fairness she was nice and made sure we had refills. Our food was hot and pretty darn good! I wanted to give 5 stars, but it was the appetizer that threw me off. We will try again, because we love Los Amigos and it's the closest to Detroit...
