McDonald's — Restaurant in Placentia

It's McDonald's, people aren't gonna look at my review and say. Hey that doesn't sound great. Here I go anyway. I had a mobile order. I arrived at the McDonald's and selected pickup inside. So there I am. Sitting inside, waiting for my order, for 23 minutes after which I get up and finally say something. "That was a drive through order. It was picked up 15 minutes ago." said the manager. I followed with"No it wasn't, why would your drive though orders show progress on you dine in screens?" I was acknowledged and then they commenced to converse in Spanish as if I didn't understand Spanish. Too bad I did.... "This punk is trying to pick up a drive through order out here." said one to another. " What? Tell him no, where is he, let me see his reciept," came from someone that appeared to hold a management position. I show them my confirmation and they say to me in English, " sorry about that sir. Well have your order to you as soon as possible." "yea hopefully" I reply. So here I am 29 minutes minutes later getting a McChicken and a damn 6 Piece McNugget. In fluent Spanish I reply. "Thanks for the food, hopefully this doesn't happen often. Can I have ranch and BBQ sauce please." she replies in Spanish."Of Course, Sorry for what I said earlier." Now I plan on driving to next McDonalds where I can get some damn respect and...

This McDonald's get extremely packed and busy in the drive-thru. This is mainly the reason why I also end up walking into the restaurant instead of waiting in the drive-thru. The drive-thru line can also affect traffic since the parking lot is extremely small, which makes for a unpleasant experience trying to drive through a crowd of hangry people.

Inside, there are two self-serving kiosks as well as the traditional cashiers. I also just end up going to the cashiers because of how simple it is. Service here has always been relatively good. Food has been the same as every other McDonalds and never disappoints. However, my only concern with this specific McDonalds is that they never have Sweet Tea. Even when I have asked for it, they grab it from the back and it's the unsweetened one. I prefer getting a Sweet Tea and watering it down with Unsweetened Tea, but it appears that I can get that at this specific McDonalds. I know I know, I can put my own sugar, but it just is never the same.

Overall, my experience here has always been pretty positive even if the parking lot, the drive-thru, and the lack of Sweet Tea can be a problem, I can still give this specific McDonalds a 3.5, but I will be...

I had to leave a comment about this location. I stopped inside and just wanted a plain biscuit. The cashier saw me looking at the menu looking for an option to order a plain biscuit & helped me order it. Didn't know it would be a bit tricky with their menu, but regardless I was immediately assisted at the touchscreen kiosk. I decided to stay and eat there instead of taking it to go like I originally asked the cashier. Upon opening my order, I had a muffin with egg n cheese instead of a plain biscuit. .. I politely asked the same cashier ( Charlene) who had helped me order it if I could possibly get a plain biscuit. She was so incredibly helpful genuine in her apology and fixed my order within less then 2-3 mins from taking the order back. She displayed the same with every customer who came in. She should be rewarded in some fashion for setting a level of expectation to deliver excellent customer service to each customer coming in thru the door.
