The wife and I left Sacramento for Memorial weekend and headed to Auburn to hang out in Coloma. When we arrived in Coloma and decided on goin out to dinner, we saw some spots in Coloma but Main Street TH caught our eye out of all things on Google. It was 15mins from Coloma so technically 40mins from our hotel in Auburn. You only live once so we headed over. I can tell you now that this place is fairly nice and the food was GREAT! My goal was to go out and eat something that wasnt so common with common flavors and this place succeeded my expectancies. First off, Jeff, our waiter.......this guy you definitely wanna party with at least once in your life. Very care free to the point almost unprofessional but hey, we are all out to party and have a good time and his customer service was one in a million. No lie. Jeff was great! I ordered a Mexicano flatbread with jalapeno cream, cheese, pickled jalapenos, olives, tomatoes and it was AMAZING!! Chili verde fries with chili verde, sour cream, pico, guacamole and potatoes? An AMAZING mix of flavors. My wife got some sandwich that I cant remember and take the time to look up but it was unique and delicious as well. Jeff let me sample some Micro beers and hooked up a pint of a FINE, FRUITY IPA. We had a lil mishap towards the end of the night but Mica, lil female shift manager made all things right. Very sweet to say the least and made the experience that much better. Gave us a lil history on the building and restaurant as well. Keep doin what you guys are doin and business will grow and come your way the way businesses are needed nowadays....

My husband and I ate here during late-lunch/early-dinner time and it was basically empty. The building itself is clean and nice looking, and the service started out great. Things took a turn after we got our food, which was very bland and just overall underwhelming.

I got the French dip (a normal order I get at a lot of restaurants) and the meat on it tasted like it came straight out of a deli meat container from the supermarket. There was limited flavor coming from the sandwich and the au jus tasted watered down. The sandwich came with fries, which I had to dump a bunch of salt on to get any flavor from it. My husband got the fish tacos and everything on it was dry, not enough sauce, and overall just bland. The only saving grace was the appetizer. We ordered nachos which had nice thick cuts of pork and plenty of nacho toppings (i.e. cheese, sour cream, guacamole, etc). In hindsight, this could have fed both of us because it was huge.

The waitress checked on us a couple times at the very beginning of our meal, but then ignored us for the rest of the time until my husband had to get up and go find her to get our check (this is after roughly 25 mins of us sitting at our table chatting and not eating anymore). Keep in mind, there was maybe like one other table that had people in it, so I'm not sure what was keeping her from paying attention to us.

I'm assuming a lot of people come here for the alcohol they serve, and are probably too drunk to notice that their entrees don't taste like anything. I wouldn't come here if you are just looking for somewhere...

Terrible food, worse service ever! Shelly sat our small family group in a corner, then forgot about us. After 5 minutes, my husband had to go looking for someone just to start the drink order. The appetizer, terrible egg roll, followed 30 minutes later by our food. (Shelly never checked with us to explain the delay), the fries were cold; the coleslaw was even worse. Seriously, I have had better coleslaw from KFC. It tasted like shredded purple cabbage with apple cider vinegar. I called today and spoke to Shelly who made up one excuse after another as to why the service was slow, shift change, just finished brunch, (hey we got there after 3, can someone explain how that is after brunch?) Then, she had the gall to say she checked with us 4 separate times, No, not true. When she finally came with our orders and checked back later after 5 minutes, that was when I told her to take the coleslaw away. I appreciated that she offered more cold fries or a side salad. I said no and she should have made a price adjustment but didn't. Saw her only twice after that, the last time when she hurriedly dropped off the bill. When it was time to pay the bill, my husband pointed out to her that she had charged him for two beers instead of one as ordered. She made it sound like she was doing us a favor by removing the second beer. Seriously, this place was terrible. And the place was not as crowded as she tried to use as an excuse. I can only imagine how slow the service and bad the food is when it is...

The menu is typical of a tap house. Burgers are standard solid choices. I have had their flatbread and pastrami sandwich, they were ok. The steak and arugula salad is my current faves. The sliced steak strips are pretty darn tasty. Quality, tender cuts. The steak is fresh grilled and served hot over the salad. Yes please. On my last visit, it was a Saturday night 6 pm. Prime feeding time. Unfortunately they were understaffed. The staff was however super friendly and working their tails off. It looked like they were all multitasking as host, server, bartender, food runner, and whatever as the restaurant filled to capacity. It took a bit longer to check out and as more tables filled, the service got a bit slower. Understandable due to the staffing levels. Kudos to the staff for holding down the fort.

Stopped in for dinner. The place was busy but not super busy. Cleanliness was definitely noticed and makes me feel at ease. We were quickly seated and waited upon by a very local and friendly server named Geof. He was knowledgeable and excellent at keeping up with all his tables. We ordered the Dirty Garlic Shrimp Fries, Fish N Chips, and some fried shrimp. The food was extremely tasty. The DGSF were to die for; so much flavor it was ridiculous (in a good way). The fish n chips fresh and not overly fishy. The fried shrimp was perfection and Geof made a cocktail sauce for us! Highly, highly recommend this restaurant. Great service, atmosphere, and food. Very quality place!
