We ate there last night. A friend of ours called at 4:30pm. and the person who answered the phone said there was not any reservations available but there was not a wait at the door, at that time. We arrrived at 6:05 pm. and I admit that the restaurant was slammed. That happens on a Friday night so we waited at the bar for 30 minutes before a table was ready. We sat dow and ordered and then patiently waited for our food to arrive. I noticed that the table next to us, a mother and two children sat down about 5 minutes after us and ordered as well. We patiently waited an hour, with only marginal service attandance. Then I notice that the table next to us had ordered their meal, consumed it and was now leaving. I had enough! I walked up to the front door and asked to see the manager. A person who may, or may not have been the manager, asked me what was wrong. After I addressed our problems with the service she asked where we were sitting and said she "would take care of it." We walked back to our table so I could identify where we were sitting. I sat down and waited for our food to arrive. I doubt I was sitting down more that 3 minutes when our food arrived at our table. I had a personal pizza. It was barely warm and so dried up that the cheese had set up. There was a little warmth in the pizza crust but the toppings were cold. I asked around the table if anyone's food was hot. The (4 other people) all said it was barely warm as well. My wife ordered Ahi Tuna and ask that the fish be cooked instead of seared. The Waiter said that would be fine. When the fish arrived it was almost raw, which we understand is how seared Tuna is expected to be cooked, but she does not care for seared Tuna so she sent it back for more grill time. She had to send it back twice more to get it fully cooked, but by this time the rest of us were finished with our meal and the fish was dried out, but it was warm. Normally, my experience with these types of problems would involve a short conversation with the manager where they would listen to our complaints and apologise for the poor service and food. We did not have this convervasation with anyone, perhaps out embarassment or arrogance, but the waiter did blame the large number of diners for the lapse in service. I do not consider this to be an adequate response. I consider myself to be a pretty reasonable and understanding person, but no restaurant should require a 1 hour wait to deliver a meal that was cooked 15+ minutes earlier. Bottom line, the problems of the restaurant ARE NOT MY FAULT. It is obvious to me that the Kitchen and wait staff were "over their skis" and simply could not handle the number of diners at the venue. They were unable to deliver a quality dining experience. This was the worst dining experience in my...

Unfortunately, I can not say the same good things about the service. We were seated by our hostess and a little while later our waitress came by to take our drink order. My wife looked at the drinks and placed her order and added an appetizer. I was still looking at the menu and thought the waitress was still writing down my wife's order. What I didn't realize is that she was staring at me waiting for my order off the drink menu, generally I'm used to some verbal segue for the next person to order. It wouldn't have been a big deal and I apologized for not noticing she was ready. But, she was very visibly frustrated that I did not have an order ready for her right away, enough so, that my wife mentioned seeing it too after she left. Maybe the waitress was having a rough day?
Time goes by and the appetizer comes out. We start to wonder when our order for entrees will be taken, as we haven't seen our waitress for a while. As we are eating an employee comes up and stands by our table, not saying anything, dead silent. We awkwardly take a few more bites of the appetizer and then I ask if he is there to take our order. He says he is and we place our order. Maybe he was new or something but the whole encounter with him was strange, no introduction and the order process was robotic feeling.
This review is getting too long at this point, so I will speed it up. Our food finally comes out, my wife loves salmon, so she ordered the salmon. She could not finish eating it, she said the texture was like rubber and she had a nasty long hair in her side. My meal was great but I felt bad for her, so we complained and the manager came out. She was very friendly luckily and took the meal off our bill, which we appreciated. Despite this, I don't think I can give higher than 2 stars just from how awkward and uncomfortable the first half was.
We must have been unlucky based off of the other good...

We decided we wanted to sit outside as it was a beautiful August day, and there was a bit of a wait so we grabbed some refreshing S. Pellegrinos while we waited inside at the bar. Then they led us to our seats which were situated in a little alcove out of the sun, surrounded by green and overlooking the water.
We started with soup- we both ordered a Lobster Bisque- it was very tasty but we both felt that it lacked lobster 🦞. However, we did feel it was accurately priced- more lobster means higher price; we get it.
We decided to split some apps and share our entree:
We ordered the CLASSIC SMOKED WHITEFISH DIP (GF upon request-fresh vegetables, tomato basil jam, assorted crackers) and really enjoyed it. The dip was tasty and not too fishy (as whitefish is generally mild, that’s what we expected) and the tomato basil jam was a perfect complement to the richness of the dip.
We also ordered the BWG CHIPS ( (GF)(V) housemade chips, goat cheese fondue, red pepper aioli, additional sauces). I very much enjoyed the chips, however, I guess we were expecting a warm goat cheese fondue, based on the description- although I see it doesn’t say “warm” 😂 but that’s what I was expecting so I was a little “meh” on the dips as they were all served cold in tiny condiment cups.
The highlight of the meal was the BLUE WATER MARGHERITA Pizza ( (V) basil pesto, roma tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, mozzarella & provolone cheese blend, balsamic glaze) which boasted delicious flavors and a variety of textures with the crunchy crust, gooey cheese and fresh herbs. I will say that a little less crunchy crust would be nice for picky people like us who have braces, but I’m sure the chef isn’t making menus for people with adult braces 😬😆.
We really enjoyed our meal and the ambiance/environment, as well as the service. Great...
