If you're in the mood for authentic Italian cuisine that feels like a warm embrace from Nonna herself, look no further than Fred’s Italian Restaurant. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the comforting aroma of garlic, tomatoes, and herbs wafting from the kitchen. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, with soft lighting and rustic decor that transports you to the heart of Italy.Let's talk about the food. Each dish at Fred’s is a celebration of traditional Italian flavors executed with precision and care. The pasta dishes are a standout, with handmade noodles cooked to perfection and paired with rich, flavorful sauces. Whether you're craving a classic spaghetti carbonara or a decadent fettuccine Alfredo, you won't be disappointed. But the excellence doesn't stop at pasta. Fred’s also offers a variety of mouthwatering entrees, from tender osso buco to hearty eggplant Parmesan. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and a passion for authentic Italian cooking that shines through in every bite. And let's not forget about dessert. Be sure to save room for tiramisu or cannoli, the perfect sweet endings to a memorable meal. But what truly sets Fred’s apart is the hospitality. The staff treats every guest like family, providing attentive service with a genuine smile. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment you walk in.In conclusion, Fred’s Italian Restaurant is a gem that captures the essence of Italian cuisine and hospitality. For a dining experience that nourishes both the body and the soul, look no further...

I was a little underwhelmed, but it wasn't a bad experience. I'd come back for their $9 Pepperoni special on Monday or Tuesday for sure.

Garlic Bread: A little dry (even for being toasted), but well seasoned. You'd probably be better off with the Garlic Bread with Cheese (though I did not try it).

Pizza: Was good. The curst was a little dry and burnt like (though only the very edges were actually burnt). It might be their way of making it, but it didn't appeal to me as much except that the pizza didn't collapse as much and stayed together better. It was stiff.

Huge toppings, which is popular with pizza these days. I personally like my toppings smaller because they don't fall off as much. If you're going to have large toppings, you need to glue it on better with more cheese on top. I learned this when in the pizza industry. They also did NOT skimp on toppings.

We had ham, sausage, red onion, banana peppers, and pineapple. Some places end up with a soggy pizza with pineapple, but this was okay. It was still a little soggy, but only in the middle toward the end of eating it.

Atmosphere: There is a bar, but there is enough of a restaurant feel to bring kids. There were families present with VERY young children.

It is an open ceiling environment that felt spacious, but at the expense of not feeling as cozy. There are TVs with sports displayed in a lot of places.

Service: We visited earlier on a Friday arriving at 4:30pm. But it still took about 30 minutes to get our food after ordering. The waitress seemed stressed. Maybe...

Great mom and pop kind of place. They really put some money into the decor of this place. It's not perfect as some of the lights cast a shadow on some of the projection screens. The place appeared clean.

I'm pretty sure there was one server, one bartender, one cook, and the owner working. Because of that, half the tables had their chairs put up on them. While it's understandable why they might do something like that, it really kills the mood when half the restaurant is shut down in the middle of the evening.

Even though they were understaffed, the wait times were great and we never needed anything. Our server didn't verbally check on us much but I'm sure she visually did. We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering.

The food was just meh. Under seasoned and microwaved. Even microwaved food can taste decent with proper seasoning.

The drinks were super weak. I'm not sure I wasn't just given a glass of Sprite.

I believe this place would be really good if they were properly staffed and put a bit more work into their dishes. Remember, at a restaurant, the food is the most...

I've been here a couple times before, however, this was my first time since they remodeled. I really like the new atmosphere. Very clean. I ordered the Penne Alla Angela. It was amazing. It came with a side of garlic bread which was also very good. I also ordered a side caesar salad, which was awesome. To drink, I ordered a New Holland Icabod Pumpkin Ale. It was decent but not amazing, but that's not Fred's fault. My waitress was very polite and attentive. Very positive attitude. The prices are very good for the quality and service you receive, not to mention that the portion sizes are generous. Most people will need to take some of their meal home.

Tastefully decorated interior, comfortable. We were cheerfully greeted and made to feel at home. Great service, attentive. Our meal came, we ordered the double pasta dinner for two. Salad was fresh with a rich dressing, we had fried mushrooms for an appetizer and they were hot and crispy and juicy. The lasagna and cannoneli came. The lasagna was in a robust sauce, a perfect balance of meat and cheese and pasta and sauce. The garlic bread came toastes, sliced, presented as a loaf and melted in my mouth with the delicate flavour of sesame seeds on top. Truly amazing. We ordered more garlic bread to take home with our leftovers.
