Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Plainfield Charter Township

My husband and I sat outside of the building for approximately 20 min waiting for our order to be done and it was a glass window directly in vision of the preparation table. We watched 1 guy who was preparing the pizza never put on gloves and never wash his hands continue to touch all ingredients such as cheese, pepperoni and dough with his bare hands and each time wipe his hands on his apron as he proceeded to the next order. Once again he never put on gloves or washed his hands. We watched another guy come over and talk to him, touch him with bare hands as well and continue on to prepare a pizza as well. So after watching this our order was done and my husband went in to get our order and asked about the glove and hand wash protocol and the manager states that they wash their hands all the time and the oven kills any germs coming in contact with the pizza. After explaining this nonsense, she states she could make our order again if we liked. Of course we didn’t oblige because if the rules don’t involve gloves then again the same pizza preparer would do it exactly the same right? We were disgusted to...

Ordered food at 5:00 pm. Said it would be ready at 5:26. I got there at 5:20 and they said it would be a few minutes which I understood. Finally at 5:45 I got sick of waiting and seeing people coming in and out and getting food and I looked at my order and noticed it said order #40. I heard them saying 46, 47 and so on so I was thinking hold on what's going on. I go up to the counter to find out what the heck is going on and the guy looks on in the oven behind him and there my food is. It had been sitting there the WHOLE TIME. I was so you which is why I am leaving this review. I normally order from the plainfield location and this was the first and last time I will ever go to jets...

I recently tried Buddy's Pizza in Comstock Park and couldn't believe people rave about it. It was just a super thick crust with hardly any sauce or cheese - totally dry.

Jet's has long been my favorite because they always use lots of sauce and cheese, so I am really disappointed with the 2 pepperoni pizzas I picked up this past Sunday about noon. Exactly like Buddy's. I've never had a Jet's pizza that was so dry and flavorless. Total waste of $25, and I'm sure hoping this isn't Jet's new normal.
