Okay so, I'm updating this to a one star cause this last interaction was garbage. We did an app order which usually goes smooth, this time when we pulled up a lovely guy with glasses handed us our drinks and seemed to have everything organized and was just waiting for our food to come out. Then some girl in a ponytail( It wasn't the girl with glasses!!!) Shoved her way in there and started spouting out " what are these dudes waiting for, yoooo is this for 'Cameron's(our orders name) order!" Then she proceeds to grab a random a** bag and hands it out while ushering us on, we check the bags and immediately notice we have none of our chips so we ask "hey our orders missing 3 chips" this same ponytail lady proceeds to yell at everyone " guys come on!!" And shoves a single chip bag with no cheese at us. We ask can we get cheese. She shoves one out we pull off cause at this point we feel rushed and she's already being rude over some chips. So why bother. Then as we start checking(before we leave the parking lot) we realize that our order of 6 things(excluding the chips) only has 4 things. No big deal we pull threw they tell us come up to the window and there gonna make our order right. They hand out another bag. We say thank you pull up and immediately notice that yet again no chips, and it's missing multiple things. Okay that's annoying but no biggie let's just pull threw and let em know I'm sure they'll make it right, right? Nope wrong.(this right here is why they get 1 star) They proceed to ask for the bag of food back. Okay odd whatever we hand the bag back figure oh they wanna make us all new and they are gonna toss that Stuff. Nope they proceed to dig threw our bag of food and say "oh the gordita is at the bottom of the bag you missed it." We say " there is suppose to be 2 of those" and we proceed to list off our order again and show them the online order from our phone. she then adds the gordita and a couple of the missing burritos to the old food bag that went out the window to us In our car. Then went back into the window where they dug threw our food with old gross gloves that clearly have not been changed out, cause what was once clear glove are now Yellow. They then hand the old Nasty dug threw food to us. That is so unacceptable and gross. Last time...
Read moreCalling Taco Bell a 'Mexican Restaurant' is like saying that their "nacho sauce" is cheese. Which is to say: it is not.
However, let's face it. You know why you go here, and they do a darned good job in filling that role. Either: A) you're substantially intoxicated, and your body needs some fatty fried cheesy goodness—or B) you're a stress-eater, you've just had a horrible day, and need to "go talk to some food about it."
My intoxicated go-to is the venerable beef soft taco. The chewy glutenous carbs of the steamed tortilla shell. The taco meat, spiced, salted, and MSG'd into one giant IV line of umami goodness. The smattering of lettuce. Enough to say: "I care about my body and eat nutritious vegetables" but not enough to provide any of the negative flavors typically imbued by produce. Order at least 5. 8 if you're going to need a recovery day tomorrow.
After a bad day at work, nothing plasters over the pain like a Chili Cheese Burrito. Angelic floury goodness wrapping the dark, brooding, slightly evil chili. A gooey melt of yellow cheese product bridges these two worlds, allowing a brief harmony, before your lower-GI tract completely disavows that what you've eaten is even in the realm of food, and flushes it out as fast as it came in. It's OK though, you've had enough time to wallow in self-loathing to forget about your horrible job. At least until tomorrow when it all starts over again.
You're not going to find authentic culinary mastery here, but you already knew that. For what it is, and what it purports to be, Taco Bell is fantastic and...
Read moreWent to this Taco Bell after placing an online order. I was told at the drive-thru that they were out of nacho fries. I had paid extra to get a large nacho fry, but all I was offered for replacements was chips and cheese, a 2 piece cinnabon, or cinnamon twists. None of those items cost as much as the nacho fries, and the employees didn't even seem to care. I decided to get the chips and cheese, since that was the only other thing that I even remotely wanted. I got home, and saw that my order was horribly messed up. They didn't even give me the chips and cheese, they didn't give me the correct sauces or drink, and the 10 piece chicken nugget I ordered only had 7 pieces. Not the first time this Taco Bell has messed up my order, but this has been by far the worst. The service was also terrible. The employee who handed me my food didn't even say anything to me. I would suggest avoiding this taco bell at all costs. Definitely go to the Taco Bell on 10 mile over this one. This place is quickly becoming the new Michigan...
