Daisy Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Plainfield Township

I am currently 25 years old. Growing up I went here after baseball or basketball games and loved it. Perfect atmosphere, amazing food, great for a team looking for food after a game. Went back today as an adult after not going for 9+ years and it’s like nothing changed.

My girlfriend and I are about to hit 8 years together and I wanted to show her a piece of my childhood so we stopped here after holiday shopping for some takeout. Sitting in those old booths almost made me cry.

The food is as good as I remembered and the service was great. I cook chili at home almost every other week and would love for it to taste as good as daisy's. Can not say enough good stuff about this place.

I have been coming here for years and food is always ok for the price, Ice cream is good but I don't get the monthly special it's on a average of 19cent discount why bother? But the biggest issue I have is Restaurant has been passed down in the family for year now and not 1 penny to update the Decor. The 1960 booths are old worn out and barely fit a person in them unless their under 125 lbs Come on guys spend a little of that earned cash to make it more comfortable for your guest's. I love the thought of keeping mom and pop businesses going rather than fast food places but you have to keep up with the times. ...

This is what you call a “large” Dusty road?! No whip cream, hardly any ice cream and it’s only filled half way. I call to let you know we ordered 2 and this is how they look and you rudely offer me to drive back with them and you’ll make us new ones, rather you should have taking my name and offered me new ones next time considering the high gas prices and your lack of sundae making experience. I have been going there for years and sadly it’s just not the same. I understand prices are higher now but don’t charge such high prices and give very little! Make good for it If I could only give a quarter of a star...
