The “new’ Italian Village did NOT disappoint! From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of pizza and other dishes to suit every taste. Italian Village has something for everyone. The specialty pizza (the Ziti) was a standout favorite for me. The crust is perfect with just the right amount of chew, and the toppings were fresh and generously applied.

One of the highlights of Italian Village is their commitment to quality ingredients. You can taste the difference in every bite, from the tangy tomato sauce to the creamy mozzarella cheese.

The service at Italian Village is exceptional. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Leo went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. I observed his patience with every customer, especially those that had special requests. He is PHENOMENAL!

In addition to their fantastic pizzas, Italian Village also offers a range of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches. The garlic knots are a must-try!!!!

Update (April 2024): New owners (affiliated with Francesco’s Pizzeria in Edison) offering friendly customer service, reasonable prices, and a delicious menu with LOTS of great choices (including desserts) for every palate. Review (2019) I have been an Italian Village customer for a long time and their food is always delicious. The pizza choices are extensive and there’s always several “by the slice” choices on display. I enjoy ordering their antipasto salad because it is always fresh and the presentation is eye appealing. The prices here are very reasonable and the servings are generous. During their busy times, usually evenings and weekends, I suggest calling in your order, unless you plan to eat your meal there as they have several tables available. There is usually 3 or 4 sliced dessert offerings, already packaged, in the refrigerated case as well. We've been regular customers of Italian Village for more than a year now. The reasonable prices, delicious food, and generous portions are what first drew us in. What has kept us going back, in spite of the relative distance from our home, is the staff. At even the busiest times, they are efficient, attentive, and always welcoming. It’s rare these days to find any establishment that so consistently provides such a positive, (albeit brief) experience each time you patronize them.

Finding ourselves days away from hosting a houseful of guests on Mother’s Day, we quickly chose a variety of items (most of which we’d never tried) from Italian Village’s extensive menu and hoped for the best.

We picked up our order to find that the (a la carte) sandwiches were neatly arranged on a tray, the lasagna was big enough to be a meal in and of itself, and a generous assortment of breads was included. The guests loved the food, there was plenty of it, and the day was hassle-free.
