The night shift manager isnât fit for customer service ... so is the Hispanic lady whoâs supposed to work the counter.. those two will sit & watch you at the counter & act like they donât see you for 5 minutes.
This has happened to me personally on multiple occasions, as well as other shoppers and now Iâm leaving a review because this has to be addressed.
That night manager has a nasty attitude. She doesnât talk, & appears to get upset when she has to check you out. Idk if sheâs going thru a rough patch in life or something but it doesnât make sense that every time you see her, sheâs upset to be at work or atleast appears to be. Youâll say hi & she just looks at you .. rudeness.
Maybe sheâs upset because her employees arenât doing their job idk but youâre the manager! Direct traffic & delegate responsibility if that is the caseâŠ
The Hispanic lady might talk a tad bit more, but sheâll watch you walk to the counter & hide behind an aisle talking to her coworker in the food area. Then sheâll pop her head around to see if youâll go away OR until thereâs 3-4 people standing at the counter. And her excuse everytime is âoh sorry, I was talking to my coworkerâ. FYI: You can hear the entire conversation, they arenât talking about anything work related..the aisle is adjacent to the register that she likes to hide behind.
I get it, we all have work friends, but continue the conversation after you get customers out of the buildingâŠ
Not saying do it but you can literally just take your items and walk out the store, those two wouldnât care one bit.
The GM of the store is a very sweet lady (youâll see her in the mornings sometimes) but this has to be addressed by her.
I know this wonât be read or addressed by the store because itâs Plainfield but thatâs a sorry excuse.
Iâm going to keep leaving reviews and Iâm going to start sharing pictures as wellâŠ
Once or twice is understandable, I get thereâs other duties that need to be handled but this has happened to me atleast TEN TIMES and itâs an ongoing pattern. I know for a fact Iâm not the only one whoâs experienced this.
Idk what happened to the older black lady that worked the night shift, but she was a sweetheart & always kept her eyes on the counter. Even if sheâs doing something else, youâd hear her from across the store âIâm finishing this up, Iâll be right thereâ or something of that sort.
I can live with that. Itâs better than just simply...
Read moreOk. Ya donât wanna work? Then donât. Callout. Donât clock in. Stay the F home. How do you F up a salad. Look at this. Not only did I get this with no bag, for the first time, but the way the girl gave it to me⊠She really called my number and slid it across the counter like we were in an 1800âs Saloon. Let someone who actually gives a F work the food corral. Iâm disappointed because I love Wawa. She put so many pumps of Cesarâs dressing I wasnt sure there was any chicken salad underneath it. Iâm not saying donât come here but I am saying feel the vibe. Look at their faces. Iâm not saying make youâre theyâre smiling like the pictures in the website because thatâs false but if theyâre making a face like they just smelt the worst fart in their livesâŠ. Youâre better off buying something pre packaged. Smh. Damn it! I loved it here. So close to...

The manager, Christina(I believe is her name) made a perfect sandwich for me. I'm VERY particular when it comes to food. I was very please for a long time and ordered 4 more via uber eats however, it was clear that she wasn't making them anymore (Smiles) but thats ok, the sun still shines.
I have returned several times and have NEVER had an experience like the aforementioned. I, too, am handicap, and walking around on a fractured hip with devices. There was a line of 4 to 5 ppl behind me when I was there 3 weeks ago and NO ONE rushed me. In fact, the cashier and I spoke proudly of aging gracefully esthetically. (Chuckles to self) while others chimed in. It was very pleasant...
