Aldo's Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Plains Township

It was amazing, this is one of the very few restaurants where you can BYOB! Not many places do that, they have an extensive menu of Italian & American dishes, the prices are reasonable & comparable to the size of the portions. They do deliver to businesses , that's how my friend found out about this restaurant is when they ordered lunch & was delivered to the office. The staff is so friendly & accommodating, they will even bring you a wine opener in case you forget & glasses to your table. There were 10 of us that had gone for a birthday party, they helped to make it special by making sure everyone had full glasses, took plates out as they became empty so the table was not crowded and most importantly they took the time to separate the checks for everyone, provided boxes and containers to take home your leftovers. This used to be a really good place to order from but unfortunately they’ve gone downhill. They advertise delivery but often don’t have the staff to offer delivery. The last time our office placed an order I ordered the fried chicken club sandwich and the chicken was so dry it tasted like jerky and was hard to even chew. My coworker order a ham calzone and got a veggie stromboli instead. I thought maybe it was just a bad day. Today we ordered again for lunch. I ordered an apple cider vinegar salad that the menu described to include grilled chicken. When I called the establishment to make them aware my salad had no chicken on it I was told the menu was incorrect and I could pay an additional $5 if I wanted it which is also conflicting since I checked the online menu and it listed the price as $4. They also missed an additional salad that was part of our order and we had to call and wait for it to be delivered separately. Got food yesterday, asked for a bacon cheese burger with loaded fries, two orders and boneless chicken. Received two plain cheeseburgers and plain fries. Got charged for the prior .Called up, girl said she apologized and that they would send the correct meal. I asked three times if they would need the food back, she said no don't worry about it. The driver came with a meal and asked to look at the food, i told him that she said i didn't need too. He said this is a problem and couldn't give me the food, i told him i have pictures of the incorrect order, he said that wasn't good enough. I said i can call back and get the girl and he said no. I'm like, well what are you gonna do? Then he gave me the food and said that i could get in trouble. I'm like what?
