Anthony's Italian Style North End Deli — Restaurant in Plainville

For many years I'd say about 6 or 7 now myself and at least five guys that I work with splurge at least once a month to enjoy a nice lunch a very nice lunch might I add Such a huge selection of sandwiches, dinners, quick bites and might I add they always have exquisite different pieces of cake lots of different cookies beautifully made always delicious. It can get a little busy between 12:30 and 2 which tells you a lot about the place during lunch time rush. Speaking of Rush it's amazing that such great quality comes out of such a great staff in quite a fair time to still enjoy whatever you get the line moves pretty quickly. Also as you walk in to your left there is a freezer section with some excellent cheese filled raviolis in big clear plastic bags you can take home may I just say holy delicious. I definitely recommend the stuffed shells the meatballs and the cannolis . keep up...

Anthony's North End Deli has the Best Food, Best Service,and Best people in area. It happens to be across the street from our Keller Williams Real Estate office and every agent and employee loves "the Deli". I always invite clients, and colleagues to Anthony's when ever I can. I usually have limited time, and they get me in and out with no delay. Prices are great for all the quality and portions they serve . And, my biggest lunchtime dilemma is deciding what to order. Everything I have ever ordered there has been delicious, from Pizza to Pasta, to Sandwiches, Soups, Calzones, Meat Pie, Spinach Pie, Salads, Nothing comes close to Anthony's North End Deli. Great first experience! Their calzones looked good and were sold by the pound, do I opted for small pieces of a few to get a good sampling for the one pound price...but I swear there was FAR MORE than a pound there and could have fed TWO for under $9!!!

And even better than that - each variety was really good! The Italian cold cut was nicely spiced with creamy, gooey cheese. Eggplant melted in my mouth. American meat pie was a veritable meat orgy! They came with a generous half-cup portion of what tasted like homemade red gravy/tomato sauce that was nice and chunky, but a little sweet for my taste (I prefer mine more garlicky, but I may be in the minority).
